Zeta Kohl, Hot springs FFA member on with me - to talk about their chapter service project, sponsored through the SD FFA Foundation:

They started a “community closet”. The community closet is a room located in the high school full of donated shirts, pants, shoes, and coats that provide the student body with necessary items. This closet has also served as a way for the FFA members to connect with the community, and a way for the community to directly impact the children in this area by donating their gently used no longer needed clothing. Along with clothing, the closet provides hygiene products, brand new socks, and nutrition focused snacks for whoever may need it. In addition to the closet being available any time with these items, they have hosted drives and showcases for special events such as school dances and homecoming celebrations
