The Remodelers Show—on the 2nd Monday of the month---brought together more evidence---that Sioux Falls is off to not only a good start to the 2025—year---and the 2nd half---as well.

  Tony Bachman and Neil King led off the Remodelers Show talking about where we are –where we are going and was the first six months of 2025. 

  Tony shared what he and other realtors are seeing Neil was sharing that the first six months---are continuing to show growth and promise for the rest of the year. In essence---no slowdown. Neil will have the official numbers available on August 1st. 

   Teddi Mueller—who leads the Home Builders Association was telling much the same successful stories from her organization. Plus upcoming events---that we will share as they coming closer into view.

    The Kelly’s Dave and Kelly Kelly updated us on what they are seeing on Heckham-and Fairwaymortgage… shared today, tomorrow and what they see ahead. Don’t afraid to ask questions and figure out what makes the best sense for you and your family. Keep a close eye on the clock and what the Fed is planning between now and the end of the year.

    Today Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene introduced the NO TAX on HOME SALES ACT—a bold proposal to eliminate the federal capital gains tax on the sale of primary residences. This”commonsense” reform delivers critical tax relief to homeowners and helps increase housing supply nationwide. 

   The Republican Congressman woman said it would help homeowners struggling with affordability issues and encourage mobility in the US Housing Market.

   The Census Bureau’s numbers confirm what actuaries and policymakers have warned for years-the old-age dependency ration (the number of retirees relative to work-age adults) is climbing fast. With fewer workers supporting more retirees, funding entitlement programs becomes an increasingly difficult balancing act. 

    Former South Dakota Home Builders President Todd Boots joined us- to talk about what he was seeing as state leader in 2021---and what lawmakers are studying today. Boots does provide a unique look at history and understanding of where we have been---and where we are going.

    The Remodelers Show has carefully put together leadership---across business lines---that can share what we are seeing in Sioux Falls and surrounding communities. No doubt---if you are in the house buying or house financing business—building---or selling—this is a must show to listen to on the first Monday of the month as well as the 2nd Monday.
