  I’m Bill Zortman and Welcome to It’s OUR Business—Show 50-81 in our ORIGNAL It’s YOUR Business Series.

  What’s going on in Pierre----will we had some calls from lawmakers who said—they had noticed Casey Crabtree gets on the air more than they do. We have asked a number of them---but they just aren’t as available to get on the air—in fact of them had to schedule for Friday----or was it Wednesday---

   Casey—good morning----lets get you going and talk about what is going on in Pierre---

   What has been the key chatter---who should be on the air with us---and when and who should we schedule-----

   Tony Mangan---a frequent guest in other years has come on with us---he asked to get someone this week—but Friday---

   Casey----we open the doors—and pose the questions—we want to get the information out to our listeners----I don’t take sides---I ask the questions—something that I have done for 5081 radio shows---and roughly 5000 TV Shows…

   I just look for topics that are in the news—or should be in the news---we scheduled

   He just got there from Pierre---and we want to hear what he has seen this week---and what he thinks we’ll see the rest of the week.

   The session itself---who is saying what---and what should they be saying—to me---this is a big deal for us to use our airwaves to educate the public---I say away from politics---want to be even handed----and my job is to find out what is going on –even if one-side is a lot bashful of signing in---

     What is pressing---what kind of meetings coming together are there—and exactly what are they discussing that will affected—farmers—business people and those of all ages---

------------one of those that we have enjoyed for years coming on the air is with us today---

-Troy and I are heading up to Pierre for Children’s Day at the Capitol – We will have a booth and will be attending committee meetings and hearings with legislators – Big agenda topic is the 0% increase for schools, state employees and agencies like McCrossan Boys Ranch – we are already nearly $100 per boy per day behind in funding and taking another hit this year will make donations all that much more important. Agencies like McCrossan’s are providing critical community resources for kids and can’t be overlooked. Programs like McCrossan’s will help keep juveniles out of jails in the future…they need funding.

-Next week, we will be back in Pierre and also heading to the Black Hills Stock Show. McCrossan’s serves boys throughout the entire state of SD. We love our farmers and ranchers! Stop by our booth at the Stock Show and pick up one of our famous green yard sticks we will be giving away and learn more about the ranch.

-I also just wanted to put the word out about the importance of mentors at the Ranch. We are looking for positive male role models for our boys. It just takes one hour per week to help change a life. We are 20 mentors short at the Ranch. Call the ranch for more information.
