Vertical Horizon is coming back to the DMV this weekend for Rocktoberfest at the Reston Town Center! It's a free show with them and a bunch of other bands and will be a great time on Saturday night.

Their singer Matt Scannell joined me for a really fun chat about how the band started here in DC at Georgetown, his parents support for making music instead of using his college degree, Vertical Horizon's plans for two new albums, songwriting with Richard Marx and his other friends and how grateful he is for Neil Peart's friendship and to be a part of the new documentary 'No One's Disciple'.

Thanks for a great conversation, Matt! Go see him and Vertical Horizon this Saturday night, 10/10, for Rocktoberfest at the Reston Town Center.
