Sally Jacobson, Director of the Red River Zoo, shares some sad news. The carousel at the zoo has had a major mechanical malfunction and can not operate until fixed. Extreme cost and a skill set that is almost completely gone have taken its toll on our local zoo. If you are able, going to the zoo - supporting the zoo - memberships at the zoo - will all help in getting this great attraction back up and running for the young in age and the young at heart.
