Biography

As the Director of Veteran Services at Irvine Valley College, I am dedicated to supporting veterans as they navigate the challenging transition from military to civilian life. I offer specialized mental health therapy to these veterans, helping them regain a sense of purpose and stability. 

Additionally, I work closely with active-duty service members and their families, focusing on enhancing operational capability and building resilience within the family unit. This take place through my facilitating an active-duty marriage retreat where we teach them on how to prepare themselves for the transition of leaving the military.

I do regular speaking engagements to strive to raise awareness and understanding of the unique challenges veterans face as they reintegrate into civilian culture. In these speaking engagements I go over the key points of my book "The Warrior's Dilemma" and give practical steps veterans can take to readjust from their military service.
