In early March an event ‘Settler colonialism’: What it can tell us about the conflict in Israel/Palestine took place in Adelaide. Francesca Albanese, UN Special Rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territories, was in conversation with Henry Reynolds, a historian of frontier violence in Australia, and Lana Tatour, a proponent of settler colonialism. The event was moderated by UN commissioner Chris Sidoti.
This episode of 'The Israel Connexion' debunks the notion of settler colonialism as it is applied to Israel, dismantling particularly the fallacious remarks made by Tatour.
