Charlie Pickering turned up at a protest outside the ABC headquarters in Melbourne fishing for a story. He was confronted by Avi Yemini from Rebel News who grilled him about Grace Tame's appointment to a podcast program on the ABC about Grace Tame. In response to questions about Grace Tame Pickering said: “I do actually think [Tame’s appointment] is problematic.”
If Pickering honestly wanted to give the protesters a chance to have their say he could have done that and still can if he has an honest bone in his body.
In his handling of the situation that Pickering found himself in he resorted to the saying, "A wise man told me don't argue with fools, cause people from a distance can't tell who is who."
I say to you Mr Pickering that the protesters outside the ABC this week are not fools and they will not stop in their earnest efforts to make the ABC accountable.
