In today’s podcast, Fredrick is joined by entrepreneur Kevin Aries, who discusses his new business venture ‘September ready go’ an online summer camp built to get teens “September-Ready” both mentally and physically, armed with the tools they’ll need to close any gaps in their learning. Together they discuss popular memory techniques, how to integrate yourself within business communities and why this is crucial as well as the problems with mass education and how you can help your teenager outside of the classroom.

• Memory techniques are not something often taught. The people who will benefit the most from having good memories are children, who have to pass exams and learn large amounts of information.
• Humans are good at memorising places, stories and vivid images. A useful memory technique would be to encode a piece of difficult information to learn and you turn that into a vivid image, you store it mentally by picturing that information happening in a particular place and you create a story with the new information.
• If you are a business person and you are not already plugged into a business community then you should immediately do that. • If you are able to create a group of teenagers or young people who are highly motivated and fired up, they are likely to become entrepreneurs. We know whatever happens, that teenagers are resilient and are able to constantly reinvent themselves with all the changes they face, if they are able to do this then they are going to do well.
