Vision Australia's Anushka Singh joins Peter Greco to discuss the Hear and See Me project, a national podcast initiative celebrating the lived experiences of people who are blind or have low vision.
The project is currently seeking participants aged 18 to 64 who speak Arabic, Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, or are First Nations people who speak English. No media experience is required, and participants can choose to remain anonymous.
Anushka explains how the process works, why these stories matter, and how sharing personal experiences can help challenge stigma, raise awareness, and inspire others. Participants will be supported throughout the process and thanked with a gift card for their time.
If you're interested, or know someone who may be, now is the time to get involved.
