Sally Capp is the former Lord Mayor of Melbourne and was the first woman to be directly
elected to the role. Sally came to local politics following a long career as a lawyer, a senior
executive and a businesswoman, having started her own business in venture capital.
In this episode, Sally talks about her successes and failures, her commitment to having a go even if it’s scary and using the doubts of others to visualise her future career. She’s passionate about sharing the stories of other women politicians in Australia and speaks on navigating leadership in turbulent times.
