Cybercrime on the rise

View descriptionShare

Cybercrime costs the Australian community an estimated $3.5 billion a year and much of that flows offshore to offenders beyond the reach of law enforcement. This is an under-reported crime but the NSW Police Force cyber crime unit is calling on victims to come forward and share their stories. Detective Sergeant Julian Thornton discusses recent jobs and trends in this fast moving space.
