Coach starts off the final hour going back and forth with the update anchor Eddie Garrison. The two reflect on IST’s 30 year's worth of shows. Hall of Fame Voice of the Indianapolis Indians, Howard Kellman joins the show to talk about the Indians losing effort to the Nashville Sounds, 7 – 5. The Indians have struggled the last three nights with giving up walks. The South Bend Cubs play-by-play voice Brendan King calls in and gives his update on the team’s game. It was a rain-out early into the game, so the action will resume again tomorrow. King has had quite a few games rained out over the last couple weeks, he says the small perk is that the team hotel is only a five-minute walk from the stadium. Tony Donahue is the final guest of the night and he discusses the upcoming IndyCar races. Donahue has excellent insight on Graham Rahal’s pole position and recovery this season as well as the drama that continues to follow Alex Palou.  

Mark Jaynes continues into the 10 o’clock hour. He will be in the booth from 10a.m. tomorrow until well into the night. The weekend is going to move about as fast as the race cars do for him. Graham Rahal will have the pole position for tomorrow in the IndyCar series. GoldandBlack.com’s Alan Karpick joins the show to preview the upcoming Purdue football season. Purdue has sold a high amount of season tickets this year, their new quarterback from Texas seemingly raising some excitement before the season. Karpick also provides an update on Purdue basketball. He says both teams are experiencing the heavy pros and cons of the transfer portal this far into its lifespan. Jack Ankony of the Indiana Sports Illustrate affiliate, Hoosiersnow.com calls in and talks about IU football’s upcoming season. The unit as a whole is lacking heavily in experience and that will be the ultimate test for the Hoosier’s this upcoming season.   

Greg Rakestraw kicks off the show from Buffalo New York, he will have the call for the Indianapolis Colts first pre-season game against the Buffalo Bills. Coach Lovell and Rakestraw go back and forth on if Anthony Richardson is ready for the big time. Was pre-season practice enough to prepare him for the real thing? The voice of the Indy 500 joins the show, Mark Jaynes has a busy weekend ahead of him as Brickyard weekend brings three races to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Derek keeps the show rolling by continuing to discuss the news that Jonathan Taylor has requested a trade. Derek ponders what will happen next as this situation continues. He discusses if the Colts should offer Taylor a long-term contract extension. Derek gives his thoughts on Colts fans having to go through another offseason of drama. Brendan King calls in about the South Bend Cubs who lost to Peoria 7-2. Brendan and Derek also discuss the Jonathan Taylor situation. Derek closes the show by previewing the return of Coach Bob Lovell.  

Derek kicks the first full hour of the show off by continuing to discuss Jonathan Taylor requesting a trade, and how Jim Irsay may have made the situation worse by making comments public. Howard Kellman, voice of the Indianapolis Indians, calls in to discuss the teams 6-3 win over Louisville tonight. Greg Rakestraw calls in to talk the Indy Eleven losing to Louisville tonight. Greg and Derek talk about the Jonathan Taylor situation. John Herrick drops by to talk to Derek about the Indy AlleyCats, and IU football. 

Derek Schultz opens the final show before the legendary Coach Bob Lovell returns to the big chair by discussing the breaking news that Colts All-Pro running back Jonathan Taylor has requested a trade. He then dives into some MLB trade news. Derek then talks about the deteriorating relationship between the Colts and Taylor.  

After a scoreboard update from Sam Fritz, Guest Host Eddie Garrison talks to Charlie Clifford, formerly of WISH-TV, now a sports anchor/reporter for NBC 5 in Cincinnati. He gives an update on Joe Burrow, tells us which team between Bengals, Reds, and FC Cincinnati is drawing the most attention, gives the biggest storyline heading into training camp, and tells us which restaurant he misses most from Indianapolis. Then, Network Indiana’s own Brendan King, the voice of the South Bend Cubs, joins the show to talk about the red-hot High A Cubs, as well as their major league team. They then talk about the MLB trade deadline and a bit about the Colts. Eddie then closes out the show with more Colts talk, predicting some stats for the season. 

After a scoreboard update from Sam Fritz, Guest Host Eddie Garrison has an extended conversation with Casey Vallier, studio host and media man extraordinaire for the Indianapolis Colts. They talk about how Colts camp has gone so far and then set statistical expectations for the star players of the team and talk about what we can expect to see from the team this year. After that, James Boyd of the Athletic joins the show to talk with Eddie about what he has seen at Colts camp over the last few days and where the biggest position battles are, specifically at tight end. Then, Hall of Fame Voice of the Indians joins the program to talk the 5-3 tribe loss to the Louisville Bats at Victory Field. Eddie then closes out Hour 2 

Eddie Garrison fills in for Coach Lovell today on Indiana Sports Talk and starts the show with a scoreboard update from Sam Fritz. Then, Eddie brings on Paul Condry of the Regional Radio Sports Network to talk some High School Football around the state with the season starting in just three weeks. He first talks about his edition of Indiana Football Digest this year and then previews the season for every class around the state to close out the first hour. 

James Boyd joins Eddie Garrison to discuss Quentin Nelson’s celebrity softball fundraiser and the tight end battle for the Indianapolis Colts upcoming training camp. The defensive back room is a hot topic for the Colts this offseason. Eddie and James go in depth on the players available to play cornerback and safety alongside Kenny Moore. Contract extensions are also a big storyline heading into training camp for the Colts. Especially extensions concerning Jonathan Taylor and Michael Pittman Jr. Eddie and James discuss who needs to be extended first. Brendan King joins Eddie to discuss the South Bend Cubs and major storylines in the MLB. To close out the show Eddie Garrison gives his thoughts on Jonathan Taylor and Michael Pittman Jr.’s contract situations.

Voice of the Colts, Matt Taylor, joins the show to discuss the Indiana State Fair, and the storylines to follow in the Colts’ upcoming training camp.They dive into expectations for Anthony Richardson, what to expect from the defensive line, and the tight end battle. After having time to decompress from the NBA Summer League, Scott Agness joins the show to give his thoughts on the Pacers’ performance in Las Vegas. They then get into potential James Harden and Damian Lillard trades. Howard Kellman then joins to discuss the Indianapolis Indian and his long career. Then, to close the hour, Producer Jonathan joins the show to discuss Super Bowl odds.
