Coach then previews some of the semi-state on the girls’ side tomorrow. Brendan King and Coach talk some college basketball afterwards including IU/Purdue on Sunday. Coach is then joined by Bryon Clause the Head coach at Portage HS, as they clinched their first conference championship in 37 years defeating Laporte 79-54. He rounds the first half hour out talking with Rob Brown of the ISC Sports Network who had the call of Lawrence North’s 62-56 victory over Pike.

He explains how the tough schedule they faced prepared them for their tournament run. Also, how does Schelsky’s team celebrate a win? It wouldn’t be a Saturday night of Indiana Sports Talk without Kip Wesner of Hoosier Basketball Magazine. He was in Washington this morning for great 1A. He also recaps some of the other notable games from around the state and looks forward to this weekend. We wrap the show by taking one last look at March Madness and previewing the IHSAA State Basketball games.
