Brian Sullivan of WNAS had the 4A championship at New Castle between Mount Vernon and New Albany and describes the tense championship game and how Luke Ertel came out on top. We then hear from Parke Heritage’s Rich Schelsky on his team advancing to the State finals after a win over Linton at Southport. He explains how the tough schedule they faced prepared them for their tournament run. Also, how does Schelsky’s team celebrate a win? It wouldn’t be a Saturday night of Indiana Sports Talk without Kip Wesner of Hoosier Basketball Magazine. He was in Washington this morning for great 1A. He also recaps some of the other notable games from around the state and looks forward to this weekend. We wrap the show by taking one last look at March Madness and previewing the IHSAA State Basketball games.

He takes us through the day and what led Triton-Central to the Semi-State victory. Then, we go on a deep-dive into the NCAA tournament as producer Caleb’s Duke Blue Devils won. Brendan King asks why Tom Izzo’s coaching style is able to work so well this time of year. We touch on Grace college losing in the NAIA Elite Eight. We also touch on the Pacers dropping another game to the Spurs and where they stand in the race for worst record in the league. For the second night in a row we hear from Scott Agness of Fieldhouse Files to complete our Pacers discussion on why it was all about not getting stops in San Antonio tonight. He also walks us through the NBA Draft Lottery and what has to happen for the Pacers to keep their pick.
