The second hour of IST kicks off with Rob Blackmon the radio voice of the Purdue Boilermakers joining the program. He talks about Purdue's football victory against the Illinois Fighting Illini. This game was certainly, an upset victory, not just comparing records but the Boilermakers were also the away team against one of the country's top college defenses. Blackmon reads the room on people's feelings towards this season with Purdue having both a somewhat disappointing season while still being able to win the Big Ten West. Cook then asks Blackmon to give short preview of the Boilermaker Basketball season. Derek Schultz then calls into the show and talks about DePauw's 49-14 victory over Wabash College. Schultz describes it as a cathartic victory following DePauw's blown lead last week. Schultz gives his reaction to the frantic Colts news this week. Chris Keevers, the University of Indianapolis Greyhounds football coach called the program and celebrates the teams playoff berth with a 28-point comeback victory over Truman University for the GLVC Championship.
