The 29-year-old member of the student representative council at the university, achieved the 36 distinctions from his 40 modules.
Stanley Namakhota (29) received 36 distinctions out of 40 modules to graduate with a bachelor degree in welfare science on 22 March.
The Atteridgeville-based student who was born in the rural village of Sekhiming, Limpopo, said his achievement was made all the sweeter considering the hardship he had endured.
