In These Times with Bill Nigut

Dr. Sharon Willis

As the candidates race to the finish line on the final weekend before election day, host Bill Nigut asks a panel key questions about the top races:

Is this the change election that many democrats believe it will be? Can democrat Keisha Lance Bottoms become the first Democrat in more than two decades to sit in the governor’s office? or will Rick Jackson, a virtual political unknown less than a year ago, keep the GOP’s hold on the office? Is the republican lock on state constitutional offices in jeopardy? Will incumbent Jon Ossoff's consistent lead in the polls over challenger Mike Collins be confirmed by voters?

How important are  visits by Donald Trump and Barack Obama in turning out the vote for each side? Our panel of top journalists and analysts look at those questions and more.

Panelists:

Chuck Williams, Publisher & Editor, Columbus Ledger-Enquirer

Leroy Chapman, Editor-in-Chief, Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Prof. Amy Steigerwalt, chair, political science department, Georgia State University

Prof. Karen Owen, Political science professor and Dean, University College and Honors College, University of West Georgia
