This week on In the Valley
Well known local personalities dominate this week's show. First up, we have a visit from a local elder, former bus driver and current guitar man Andrew Shandley. Andrew dropped by to chat and play us a few songs live in the studio.
Also, on this week's show, when we asked her how we should introduce her, she said 'Natalie Davey from Fitzroy Crossing'. This girl wears so many hats it's hard to pin just one label on her. On this week's show, she joins us to talk about the Scholarship she picked up last year from Magaballa Books in Broome. This funding supports Natalie in a couple of writing and illustration projects she's had on the go. One on her childhood experience of falling off the jetty in Broome, the other on her annual wet season experience of walking to town when she's flooded in.
A couple of fantastic conversations for your afternoon with some of the Fitzroy Valley's finest this week on In the Valley.
