Hour 2: Fresh Start, Refreshed Faith

View descriptionShare

It is an age old argument, “Can we really put our trust in the gospel accounts of the life and ministry of Jesus?” On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week, we tackled this often used argument to turn people away from faith in Christ head on. Our guest addressed the most common objections and arguments against the Gospel accounts and how we can lovingly address those concerns while remaining steadfast in our own faith. Skeptics come and go but the unflinching truth of God’s word always remains. We traveled “across the pond” to hear from a devoted follower of Christ who shared details of conversations he has had with some of world’s most respect atheists and skeptics. He explained why, despite their many and varied arguments, the Christian faith is STILL the most compelling explanation for human life, the universe we live in and everything in between. We continued our look back at the events of 2023 and how they will impact and affect all our lives in the upcoming year and beyond. Coming out the two-tiered Hollywood strikes the entertainment industry is back in the business of influencing and transforming out society. We heard from one of our favorite guests whose ministry is planted in the heart of this world and encourages us to extend our prayers for those whose lives and creativity affect us all. What is human exceptionalism and why are cultural challenges to it too important to ignore? Our guest continued his educating us on why we have to stay vigilant as efforts to diminish and demean God’s unique creation and purpose for humanity are continually under attack. It is time to zero in on the news stories that will impact your life and faith as we kick of the new year.
