The Salvation Army is celebrating 135 years of helping people in San Antonio. Captain Joshua Robinette, Area Commander Texas Division San Antonio Area Command discusses the history of the Salvation Army in San Antonio and how they are helping people in need today.  The Salvation Army has programs for the Homeless, Youth, Seniors, Veterans, Disaster Relief, and more.  We discuss these program and tell people how they can get involved in them as volunteers or through donations.  We also discuss the upcoming Annual Gala on May 4th, to celebrate the 135th Anniversary with special guest country music artist, Sara Evans.
