Blood supplies are critically low right now.  Roger Ruiz, Senior Communications Specialist with the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center came on to talk about the need for blood and how are listeners can help.  He also talked about how one donation can save three lives, the different types of donations people can make, who can donate, and best practices when donating.
