April is National Child Abuse Prevention month.  

The mission of Respite Care of San Antonio’s (RCSA) is to protect, love, build trust and nurture growth of children with special needs and complex medical conditions while strengthening the families caring for them.

Rebecca talked about the challenges facing these children and their caregivers.  She explained the different programs provided by Respite Care of San Antonio and how they help both the children and their parents.  We talked about programs that currently had openings in them and how to enroll.  Rebecca made a special plea to parents that we caregivers to reach out to Respite Care of San Antonio to get help.

We also talked about the open house coming up on April 24th.
