At 5am on the Day of the Kerrville Floods, the Salvation Army was already at a local Walmart helping with food, supplies, and comfort. Since then, with the help of other Salvation Army chapters from around the country, they have been working to help families and first responders with food, supplies, and emotional comfort. The need is great and Major Phil talks about the devastation they've seen, the impact on the community, and how inspiring it's been to see the outpouring of donations and volunteer service. He talks about what he's personally seen and what the Salvation Army will do in the present and the future.
