Dan Kurlapski works at the intersection of nervous system regulation, human psychology, and leadership performance. He originally founded and ran a series of physiotherapy clinics across Sydney and spent years working inside elite sport environments — grounding his work in hard science before it ever touched the deeper realms of the nervous system and spiritual practice."

Then his own body forced a reckoning. Years of unaddressed overload — the kind that builds quietly while you keep pushing — caught up with him while he was leading a group on an Arctic leadership expedition. Five complete ligament tears, across both feet, at once. He was told lifelong Methotrexate, a highly toxic immunosuppressant, was his only path forward. Instead, he turned to the territory he'd spent years exploring — fasting, Facilitated Breath Repatterning (FBR), meditation, and deep self-inquiry — and rebuilt his body's capacity from the inside out, avoiding the medication altogether.

That recovery became the proof behind the work. Today Dan runs YES& Conscious Leadership and Breathwork Byron, a coach and advisor to founders and leaders — people running multiple businesses under exactly the kind of chronic, invisible overload that once dropped him — through nervous system reset retreats and one-on-one integration. And because what saved his own body isn't reserved to the world of business, he also teaches breathwork open to anyone, in whatever season of life they're in. Some people may step into the scenes. Others may participate through listening, contributing stories or simply witnessing. No performance experience is required.
