I usually agree with about 50% of fatdoctoruk's content and same goes with this recent back and forth. Health and weight are not the same thing. I agree. Healthy weight loss is possible if that's what you want. Social determinants of health are very important in determining our health. Those are things like race, ethnicity, income, access to safe play spaces, affordable housing, healthcare including mental healthcare access, education, and healthy food access. We see the profound effects of ACES (Adverse Childhood Experiences) and chronic toxic stress and trauma on our health with the development of chronic diseases, including obesity. I'm going to tell you that you are not stuck. There are aspects of your health and life that you can optimize. I believe in your unlimited potential to create any result you want.
