"Starting from ""Hey! Chicago!"" at that very first press conference, since my agenct was based in Chicago, they had really solid management that understood how to make Chicago fans happy - they had that local feel, you know, and they even helped me come up with the lines."

A podcast program, “SHOTAISM in 9innings,” hosted by MLB pitcher Shota Imanaga of the Chicago Cubs, was recorded in Japanese and has begun worldwide distribution in English using a multilingual conversion tool.

By preserving the unique nuances of the Japanese language, the audio content will be delivered to baseball fans overseas, including in Shota Imanaga’s home city of Chicago and beyond.

“I actually listened to it myself, and if people in Chicago hear this, they might think my English has suddenly improved—and then their expectations of me will go way up,”
