Johannesburg-City Power says that repairs on the electricity infrastructure on the M1 tunnel is finally complete and power supply is set to be fully restored anytime today. This after the newly installed 88kV cable passed the test along with several others that were gutted by fire two weeks ago due to acts of theft and vandalism. City Powers Tumi Mashishi says the power supply will be momentarily interrupted this morning to move the load back to the Braamfontein substation.
