Johannesburg: Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Nokuzola Capa, is leading an outreach programme in Mpumalanga aimed at promoting the inclusion of women across the agricultural value chain.
The initiative forms part of activities marking International Women’s Day, with a focus on empowering women, young women and persons with disabilities in the sector.
Capa is joined by the province’s MEC for Agriculture, Khethiwe Moeketsi, as well as local government leaders during the visit.
The delegation will engage with local stakeholders and visit farming projects, including poultry and cooperative initiatives, to support and strengthen women-led agricultural enterprises.
