Ikwekwezi FM Current AffairsAs SABC NEWS reflects on 75 years of existence, we take a look at the milestones achieved in Current Affairs broadcasting. The predecessor of what is now SAFM went on air for the first time at the Auckland Park Campus on August 12th, 1976, to broadcast only in English. It had previously broadcast in 9 languages since its inception in 1966- Interview with Former SABC reporter , Mjakes Masilela.
