This follows an apology from party leader Gayton McKenzie, who had falsely accused the public broadcaster of being involved with the independent podcast. The podcast's presenters made derogatory remarks about the coloured community in South Africa, which McKenzie mistakenly believed had been aired on SABC platforms. He has since retracted his claims and apologised after consultations with the broadcaster.
