Gauteng-IEC CEO Sy Mamabolo has announced that two-point-six-million special vote applications have been approved for the November 4th local government elections. The applications allow a registered voter who can't cast their ballot on the day to vote before election day. Briefing the media on the state of readiness for the upcoming elections, Mamabolo announced that the special vote will be held on the 2nd and 3rd of November.
