The body of one of the people killed during a violent protest in Diepkloof, Soweto this morning, is still as the scene as police await the arrival of forensic investigators. The incident unfolded after residents looted a delivery truck carrying canned fish as it passed through the area near a local hostel. The situation quickly escalated, resulting in the truck being torched. Reports say the truck driver hit into two people, killing one of them. In an earlier incident a person died after being hit by a car. An investigation is under way. We spoke to SABC reporter, Puseletso Mokoena.
