It’s one of the stark realities of the world we live in today… 1 in 4 Americans serve as caregivers, with millions providing care for loved ones with disabilities or complex medical conditions. Manny Munoz discussed it with Megan O’Reilly, Vice President of Government Affairs for Health and Family at AARP.

AND, nearly 40 million Americans have diabetes, and about half will develop diabetic retinopathy  the leading cause of irreversible blindness in working-age adults. Manny got insight on the illness from Dr. Geoffrey Emmerson, President of the American Society of Retina Specialists.

This week—December 17th—marks the anniversary of the Wright Brothers’ first flight, 121 years ago. Manny discussed how they pulled it off and just how far aviation has come with Nick Engler—an author, pilot, flight historian, and director of the Wright Brothers Aeroplane Company.

It’s hard to believe, but three or four generations have passed since World War II. This weekend marks the 84th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor December 7, 1941.
