At the beginning of September, a series of strong cold fronts brought a dangerous mix of damaging to destructive winds, heavy rain, flooding and snowfalls to Tasmania.
The severe weather caused widespread power outages, leaving thousands of homes and businesses in the dark.
During this time, the Tasmania State Emergency Service received 1,442 calls and responded to 900 incidents.
