You want experience during your football season, Well, buckle up, sweet cheeks. We've got all the experience in the world. This is I want your flex with Dan Bayer and Mike Harmon. Mike and Dan break down everything you need to set your lineups, from position rankings to.
Starts and sins.
The guys help you make those hard decisions. And now let's get your flex on. Here's Dan Bayer and Mike Harmon.
All right, welcome man. Harmon has not hungover from his birthday. That's good. I didn't expect him to be. So this is a this is a veteran that we're talking about here. He and Roddy are executive producer. Is here. You can find Mike at Swollen Dome, find me at the and Roddy Underscore. You can always find me Dan Bayer at Dan Bayer on Box. Our midweek episode gonna focus on the one third point of the NFL season. We are through six weeks teen week NFL season. I know fantasy seasons should only go to week seventeen. I understand that, but it allows us to have this benchmark at this point. Mike to kind of start to look over the first six weeks of the season, and it also allows us to do something else, and I realized it after we recorded our last podcast. In our last podcast, I talked about the Jaguars, the Colts, the Broncos, in the Saints, with some Patriots talk sprinkled in. Those aren't your fantasy hotbeds. A lot of times I like to stay away from the main stuff because I always wanted us to find the nuggets or the things that maybe somebody's not looking at. So maybe we're not talking about Ceedee Lamb or Justin Jefferson or some of the top players. But this allows us to do so both in a good and bad way as we check how things have gone in fantasy football over the first third of the season.
No, I think that's always the reminder that, you know, we can find fantasy points regardless of the sticker on the side of the helmet. Right run the numbers. Points are going to be scored in every game. What do we get eight to ten shutouts a year? If that, I don't even think it's I think it's like complete games in Major League Baseball.
I don't even think we get that anymore.
But you know, all that to say between the you know, kicker becoming more important for those leagues that still use them. I know there's been a lot of referendum the last year or two to kind of legislate them out tight ends being sucked into a flex position as opposed to being a standalone et cetera. With all those changes, all that is to say, you know, we still find some fantasy heroes.
Week to week. We certainly do it.
When we do the you know, hot players, Cold Soares, Ninja's and the top fives, you know why we highlight some guys that maybe are a little further down and off of the the radar and even off the highlight packages because let's face it, if it bleeds, it leads. When the Cowboys suck, you're still going to get thirty two ced Lamb highlights.
Yeah, absolutely, even if they get crushed those dump off six yard catches across the middle, because that's how Dak wants to throw nowadays. It's funny because Ceedee Lamb would have been a top pick. Ian mentioned why don't we do a redraft on who you would take as a top pick? And I think it's a good idea, But I think he could blend into this conversation the name that I can't get away from in the first six weeks of the season, and it probably answers your question if it was a redo. I can't get away from Derrick Henry. This it is just when you think, I thought Derrick Henry was probably done three years ago, and now he's in a situation Mike, where it's three years after the point I thought he was done and is in a situation that's better than any of the years that he actually was in Tennessee right now, Like it is crazy when you look at the running back market what we've gotten so far. Obviously no Christian McCaffrey so far this year. Breesce Hall was a top pick and it's not lived up to the expectations. But you look at the running back position and you see what Derrick Henry has done and then what everybody else has done, even at other positions. He, to me, is the story right now in fantasy football for the first six weeks of the year.
It started the year with a ten point game, and there was still a lot of hand ringing, Oh, this is what they brought They brought this guy in and blah blah blah. See he's done. Fifteen in week two. Okay, that's fine, but not much better, right, not getting you excited, and then twenty nine, thirty two, another fifteen, and then a twenty five to where he's your leading, you know, a leader in the clubhouse. To this point, you know, you've got guys that have missed the game due to a buye or and some that have had a couple of monster games. But to your point, Dan, you know, the offensive line is not the greatest in Baltimore. Their defense is lacking, uh, to say the least. But all said, the fact that you know he's been reinvigorated, change of scenery, whatever it is, you know, whatever milestones he's chasing up there, it's just been a phenomenal thing to watch him work.
Yeah, a full point PPR league. Alvin Kamara's monster game against the Cowboys really really helps in his numbers. Plus Camara's been used, but half point PPR standard leagues. Derrick Henry is the one that is setting the bar, and you just look at the gaps between him and he and I think you could say if you were just talking and I wasn't sitting into a in front of a computer with all the information in front of me, I think off the top of my head, I'd be like, well, say Kwon Barkley's got to be a part of that conversation. To your point, bye week, you know fair enough in terms of what he has been so the bye week stands out. But I'll tell you what, if we're talking about the first six weeks of the season, bye week plays into it because he wasn't there for one of them. So so you know, so the gap that you've got, at least with Derek Henry right now, who will end up having his by later on in the season. I just I expected Saquon to be pretty good. Eagles have a really good offensive line, even without Jason Kelsey returning this season. They've always been good. But I just have I've counted out Derrick Henry year after year to be like, this is the year that he's going to fall off the cliff, and it hasn't happened so far. So him having this sort of solid production all the way through so far to start the season is my big story so far.
With Dereck Henry and Saquon, I've been kind of punching myself all through this first third of the season because both of them feel like they should have been obvious. You know, it just feels like collectively as a fantasy community, we were a little hesitant, a little more hesitant on them than.
We should be.
But you look back, it's like Saquon Barkley, that talented of a running back behind the Eagles offensive line. Of course that's gonna be good. Derick Henry, probable Hall of Fame running back on the Ravens, always going to be in positive game scripts. Of course that's going to be good. It's just punching myself.
Wow. But with the Barkley thing, it'll be curious, right, and we are where we are, the third in PPR, a good thirty points behind Henry, and obviously again hang a star on the fact that he had the bye week, but it is what it is. He's had two monster weeks and then he's been okay, right, a seventeen point week, a thirteen point six and a seven point four s So you know, in you know, the Alvin Kamara, he's got that forty four point game, not that he's been bad, like his low is a twelve, you know, almost a thirteen, but you know, you do have that outlier with Henry. It's been a bit more consistent, but also you would have gotten a value out of him, and we'd always talk work horses and trying to figure out where where you go from there. I guess a surprise for me would be the fact that Kyron Williams still ranks fourth. Yeah in PPR right, given the fact that the Rams stink, or well they trend towards stinking, given all the injuries and everything. But he's been a red zone beast, right, so you're looking at fourteen to fifteen points has been his base ahead of the bye week, and eventually these guys get healthy. So we'll see how that affects it. But I don't think that's going to affect his red zone work. I was nervous coming into the year, and we spoke about it in the preview. Is you know edition of you know, will Blake Korum come in and start leeching into his touches. Well, doesn't look like that's a factor right now.
No. No. And the other thing is with Williams, the Rams have used him in the red zone previously because he's their only back, but now you don't have Cooper Cupp, you don't have Pokinakua. Tyler Higbee was always a nice security blanket as well for Matthew Stafford over the years, there's very few guys that can make you feel comfortable if you're the rams Kyen Williams is the seemingly being the lone wolf there in LA to be able to make Matthew Stafford on the offense feel comfortable.
So to close out the running back situation and conversation at least from my end, you know, in terms of the positive surprises, again going to the you can find value no matter the logo, Chewba Hubbard is fifth. Yes, right, even despite a one point four in Week one, You're looking at a guy who eleven six, twenty eight, twenty two, seventeen fifteen. You know, he's one of the stories and pickups of the year. Getting his opportunity again.
Jath opening the practice window for Jonathan Brooks as well. So something to watch in Carolina.
Hey, remember what Jerry Jones said, Boy, we should have drafted that guy after Night one of the draft. I can't wait to draft him, and then Carolina did.
I'll this will allow us to transition because we're not going to be talking about any Cowboys running backs in this in this conversation I'll tell you what's surprising, and in a good way, in a bad way, and maybe we can transition there. David Montgomery just can continues to be David Montgomery for the Lions. That's a positive. Jamire Gibbs owners are not happy with that, And I actually think if you're a Jamier Gibbs owner, you're actually disappointed in the production that he's given you so far, even though he's a top fifteen back right now. But there hasn't been any progress or gain from it. There hasn't been a bigger role carved out. So to me, it's a bit like if you drafted Jamier Gibbs. We had our Guiet team league at Fox Sports Radio. Guys, I was thinking about taking Gibbs number eight at one point, and I think there are other people who are really high on him. And I'm not saying he hasn't lived up to the expectations, but I don't think that he's lived up to the expectations that people thought, like he was going to take on more of the workload in Detroit.
Yeah.
So well, and now David Montgomery just got a contract extent. Yeah, yeah, so that ain't changing any time soon.
Absolutely not you also hear Dan Campbell talk about David Montgomery in the post games, and he loves that guy, like he's.
Not going to give chewas in the club of all the guys that were you know you can call hey, they're former Bears. That's the one guy of the last ten to fifteen years where I was pissed when he didn't come back, particularly that he ended up staying in division so he runs over YouTube games a year, right, that can't help.
Yeah, that's no fun. I just like having Travis cten on your roster. And now it's maybe that's a bummer that I've seen this year for a lot of people that were hoping that last year was maybe just you know, the opportunity for him to you know, he was he was really good last year, but to not carry that over this year and the Jaguars having the problems that they've had. Yeah, Travis Ctn's been a bummer this year.
Had Javonte Williams, folks were hoping there would be a bit of a breakout, Rashad White has fall falling apart. Now Bucky Irvings, Wow, that was quick too, right, I Mean he was a PPR guy, so it looked, not that he was a world beater, but just by volume and expecting the offense to click that, you know, just piling up four to six receptions a game, he'd get you over. He's had two games where he's been in double digits h and now he loses his workload and now you have Tucker shows up as well, so now he may be third.
Yeah, yes, yeah, because there was always this mystery with Rashad White of why it worked so well last year, and there was some Bucky Irving hype coming into the season. There was no Sean Tucker hype. That was not there. But you were just wondering, Okay, is this going to continue? Is this Buccaneers train going to continue? It seems to have carried over from last year on the success that they have, but it's just not Rashad White running the football. So one other name I'll bring up and then I'm done with my running backs and we can take a time out and do some quarterbacks and receivers and whatnot. Devan a Chan has not been in for obvious reasons, and we'll probably talk lot about Dolphins players on the other side, but a Chan, where he was being drafted, what you expected from him, not been there so far this year.
Two monster weeks to what gets hurt. That's the end of it.
Yep, that's it simple as that.
I don't I don't think it requires much elaboration. So no, you know, light a candle and hope too it comes back.
Yeah, and then you can you can set your watch that in about six minutes from now, we're going to say the same thing about Tyrek Hill. Let's go, yees, let's let's do that. He's Mike Krmen, I'm Dan by Ian Roddy's our executive producer, hanging out taking a look at the first third of the fantasy football season. We mentioned we're gonna mention Tyreek Hill. Who are some of the receivers that have fallen off tight ends? Are going to be included as well? And at the quarterback position, who really stands out so far through six weeks. We'll talk about it next here. And I Want Your Flex. I feel like it would be cheating. Welcome back to I Want Your Flex. He's Mike Carmen. I'm Dan Bayer Ian Roddy, our executive producer, hanging out. It would be cheating if I said to a tongue of myla. Considering we ended the last segment talking about him, but his the concussion that he suffered in the game against the Buffalo obviously has changed the fortunes of so many Miami Dolphins. Tua was one of those guys that you weren't taking in your first round of quarterbacks, but he was in that group with Caleb Williams, with other players of that stature, and obviously hasn't been able to live up to the expectations because of the injury. But even in the game and a half that he played Mike, there seemed to be a little bit of slowing down. You mentioned the good numbers that eh Han had in the first two weeks that then were non existent when Tua went out. But yeah, just a tough time for anybody fantasy wise in Miami.
But if you go back to Week one, the win against Jacksonville, most of the production came out an eighty yard touchdown pass to Tyreek Hill. Yep, yes, etn fumble that play. Now we've seen the Jaguars spir ever since then, and Tua got hurt the next week, and you know that it's just obliterated the fantasy potential for those players at this point, you know, Waddle and Hill, you're playing them as back end twos or threes or flexes and wishing and hoping for a big play.
That's that's all. That's all that you can do. Quarterback wise, who stands out to you the most so far?
Well, I was bullish that Williams would get it. I didn't think it would necessarily be this quick. So, you know, four touchdown passes against the Jags, he's eleventh. As we get through the first third of the season, Gino's still sitting there at number seven, getting it done justin fields. Two monster weeks kind of you know, pace things. But you know that to this point, for the Steelers, they've gotten all they wanted out of him, and fantasy owners, if he's going to continue to make plays with his legs, all the better. Jayden Annuals, you know the story, and I think we've beaten that drum quite a bit here, so no need to belabor it. Third amongst quarterbacks, Baker Mayfield, following up with Godwin and Evans. I think we believed he'd be good to that level. No, no, not to where he's the second leading fantasy quarterback at this point. Bo Nicks with his rushing aptitude. Dan is actually thirteenth. He's literally he's two points behind Dak Prescott.
That was going to be a name that I was going to bring up in the disappointments world.
Yeah, no, go ahead, light him up.
No, I just hear you expect it. Like we knew they didn't ever running games, so you figured that they'd have to sit there and be and thrive on Dak's shoulder. And it has not been there. It's not just because of Brandon Cook's injury or Jake Ferguson getting dinged up early. It's been a whole litany of problems. So Dak has been you know, Dak has been the appointment so far. It's funny Mike as well, because when you talk about like Jayden Daniels and what we've talked about him so far this season. Now you look at the division that they have and if you're if you're the Cowboys and we think that Micah Parsons and you know, DeMarcus Lawrence will come back at some point, but if you're any quarterback of that division, whether you're Jaden Daniels or Jalen Hurts or you know, Daniel Jones do like do I? I mean, as those three guys, if you can get your hay done against that Dallas defense, you're going to be able to get some fantasy points the rest of the way. Dallas ending up the last week. They actually play Washington in Week eighteen, so it won't affect Daniels as much. But interesting when you look at the NFC East quarterbacks in that way, because Dallas's defense no longer seems like something that you wouldn't want to go up against. Asked with their significant injury.
No, it's it absolutely toothless on that side of the ball and offensively stunted would be the kind way to say it. So we've got that other, you know, surprises from the positive side. You know, folks always wanted to dismiss brock Purty. Everybody was hurt and blah blah blah. Well he's eighth, even with NOA McCaffrey. The beat rolls on, So happiness for fantasy owners there. I think we're there's more on the I'm not sure and disappointment side than you know, the positivity because most of the guys atop the leader board are guys we kind of expected to be up there.
Yes, yeah, I would say if he did draft Jayden Daniels, you're probably doing pretty well in your league. Joe Burrow another guy that's you know, started slow, which obviously we knew about. But Burrow over the last few weeks has been has been solid. The huge game against Baltimore does help in all of that.
But forty seven yard touchdown run, Who the hell saw that? Yeah right, it was a great play design by.
Nobody was around them. Nobody was around them, all right, those are the quarterbacks. Let's touch on the guys who catch them.
Mahomes as well. Oh yeah, well yeah, boys do the disappointments.
We're at it. Yeah, they're absolutely right. He a you know what, you want to fire this one off?
Oh yeah, Just Mahomes has been a huge disappointment. I have him as a keeper in my dynasty or it's a you know, it's an eight keeper league, so essentially a dynasty league. But yeah, he's been awful this year. He has been a second twenty yeah, twenty third. It says on mine in Espiano, you.
Lasted through an original bidding round in our guillotine league. Nobody took him on the first round. Nobody wanted him, that's crazy. But then the second round somebody did because I put it a dollar. But okay, point being that, just it's reflective and I'm sure if you're listening to this, you don't care about our Guillotine League that we have at Fox Sports Radio. The point was to say that there were fourteen owners in the league and nobody cared to even bid a dollar.
All right, everybody looked at it. It was like, well, is it better than what I have? And I think part of it is the paralysis and this goes to the strategy of the Guillotine League as all. It's like, if I really want him, I'm gonna have to bid something substantive, and if I'm bidding something substantive, I'm actually going to play him. Yeah, right, as opposed to I'll wait to see what else. You know, I think I can get by another week or two. Why give up one hundred bucks or whatever it might be. I don't know what he ended up going for in ours, but yeah, he's not top seventeen and a half points in any week this year. Obviously a bye this past week and a big matchup against the forty nine ers to come. But you know, we mentioned in the waivers Juju Smith Schuster, Do you suddenly have designs for him Xavier Worthy? Do they figure out some other wrinkle to the offense or is it enough for the defense to get it done. It's it's a great curiosity for what Andy Reid gets to do next.
What wide receivers? Do you love Mike so far this year?
Well, as we look at the bord what he plays. I mean, it's hard not to love what Malik Neighbors can do between the White Lions, Right, he had those two big games and it's like, all right, here we go, and then he he getsself hurt. Brian Thomas Junior mentioned him a smallest game against the Bears, but still on the whole, has had enough of an impact that kind of you know, he's thirteenth in PPR leagues thus far, Jade Reid for the Packers has become the go to two monster games kind of carry everything.
But it's good enough for fourth.
Yeah, and that's it's a good point. I was actually going to bring him up as well when you look at the consistency of the Green Bay wide receivers. We knew that Reid and Love had that connection last year, but this year he had the Romeo Dobbs missing the game for whatever was going on, Christian Watson was thinged up, Dontavian Wicks has now hurt again and he's flashed here and there. A Reid's been the real consistent one for Green Bay and to me has stood out in a positive way.
This Yeah, and I guess it comes to like the larger question of what constitutes consistency for a fantasy wide receiver at this point, right, because Godwin has three games of at least twenty two points, fine, he's the leader in the clubhouse. Jamar Chase has a forty one and a twenty nine point eight otherwise twelve seven point five, seventeen point five, twelve point two. That's good enough for second. Nico Collins misses a game, he's got a fifteen, a twelve, and a seventeen to go with two monster games of twenty seven plus. It just suffice to say we're riding a roller coaster with wide receivers, you know, on a week to week basis, and for fantasy owners, the frustration of I have my number one and that's all I you know, he's gonna get me my points each week.
Not so fast in twenty twenty.
Four, and you want to dive in some pass catchers that you think stood out so far in a good way.
Trey McBride has been pretty good the last couple of weeks since coming back. Yeah, yeah, jumping over to tight ends, sorry to jump.
The that's fine, it's all good.
Yeah, that's a when healthy performance.
Yeah, definitely, and then sticking also a tight ends. Travis Kelsey's been the other end of the spectrum, big, big disappointment this year, along the lines of Mahomes as well.
He'll be curious coming out of the bye week though, right because the two weeks before it a fifteen point nine at a sixteen.
So okay, so yeah, it's not as bad as it No, well, no, I.
Mean he's still thirteenth and he would have been drafted what third or fourth amongst tight ends.
So to your point, some people had him in like the first round.
You yeah, no, But that's what I mean is that you're absolutely right. Is that the it's draft versus where he sits.
I'm just saying that maybe maybe you've got an opportunity here moving forward, because let's face it, he was on tour with Taylor Swift as a backup dancer. This, I mean I saw him in Europe, so all of those I.
Mean I didn't see him. It's not like we hung out and drank beers or whatever.
But yes you did, Yes you did.
Allegedly, But just the idea that.
They seem to kind of ease him back in and then he became the break glass in case of emergency guy ahead of the bye because the receivers and the checko get hurt.
Yeah.
I saw some interesting thing before the season saying or maybe it was a game and or something saying like Kelsey has what you know, seven full you know, full contact as hard as he can go football games left in his body, and they're trying to save those for when they really really need them.
Yeah, so they did, like last year's usage was down, and then you saw what he did in the playoffs. Yeah, this is it is such a fake narrative I think in talking about what he means, like last year was exactly how they want to use him. And when January comes around, which they're going to be there, it's not gonna be saf You're worthy or anybody else on that.
Team that's it figure out how to cover him.
Yes, right, and Patrick Mahomes same thing for fantasy purposes. We did this all last year. There's a lot of handwringing about the offense. Now, did I expect it to be maybe a bit better, you know, more shots downfield? Whatever, Well, Mahomes takes out Rossie Rice's knee worthies. I mean, I don't know what is he one hundred and twenty pounds, so can wet, but he's more a gadget guy and an occasional explosive play guy than an every down let's move those chains wide receiver. So yeah, I mean you've got you've got an offense. But again, you're playing for January, and I think as fantasy owners, I mean I felt for the banana and the tailpipe and had Mahomes ranked way too high. But since this all started with Travis Kelcey, I think the second half you'll be just fine once we start getting into winning time.
I do want to jump back into the wide receivers, but we're gonna do it after a timeout. He is Ian Roddy, that's Mike Harmon. I'm Dan Byer. This is I want your flex our one third of the season. Fantasy review continues next year, and I want your flex. I do want to jump back to the wide receivers just because there are a couple of names that I think outperformed well. I know they outperformed what I thought they could do. I do not think that Stefan Diggs would be incorporated as fluently and seamlessly as he has with the Texans. So like it's come at the expense of Tank Dell. I was about to say, but there's there's also you're also trying to get Joe Mixon in, and I know Mixon hasn't been there as of late because of injury, but ends up finally returning. It's the fact of you have these new pieces and considering we thought Diggs was such an issue in Buffalo and now to see him just go to Houston worked seamlessly was positive pleasant surprise. And I think you have to say, Drake London, considering what we've waited for him in Atlanta, now that you have a quarterback that can throw the football, we've talked about the London Mooney one two punch now with the Falcons. Yeah, he's he's done really well. Slow first week against the Steelers, but since then, Drake London's been really, really good for Atlanta.
Figure, we'll fire up a couple more while we're here. I continue to bang the drum, and it's the name. You guys will probably throw stuff like I'm a Jets. Honk Alan Wizard is eleventh and PPR leagues just got of throwing it out there thus far. Terry McLaurin twelfth, you've got a twenty three, a twenty and an eighteen. He's got two smallish ones that started the season. So he went to the waiver wire in a lot of leagues, and people were able to go find him because folks were fed up thinking he'd been phased out just that fast. But the cream, as Randy Savage reminded us, rises to the top disappointment. Just a couple more of those we already did the fun and excitement of Miami. George Pickens, did I think he'd be a world beater? No, because I don't think that offense was going to be there. But did I think he'd be ranked forty second?
No?
Brandon Ayuk at forty three, No, and Chris Olave I thought the Saints would stink, but that you'd at least get points from him. He is forty seventh, amongst wide receivers. Here's his game log three point one, twelve point eight, twenty point six, sixteen point seven. Okay, so two back to back and then a three and then a negative point.
Five crushing because he was he was of that next group. You know, there's the Justin Jeffersons, the Ceedee Lambs, the Tyree Kills, and then there's a group below them, and then that's then at the end of that, you're like, Okay, Chris olave Is, does he break into that second tier or does he not? He's not, you know, Jamar Chase another name at the top of the list, but does he break through? And a lot of people there are teams that have him as their wide receiver one. Yeah, a lot of teams in fantasy that have that because they ended up drafting running backs. And yeah, it is not it is not panned out as as what you would have hoped. Injuries to AJ Brown have obviously screwed him, but you expect more. But you're just you didn't get the return because of that, but that's not his fault. And then DeVante Adams, if you took Devanta Adams, you have to be completely scorn because of how things have gone and this hamstring injury that I use air quotes that he's been dealing with.
Yeah, see, that's the the larger thing swirling out there, the all right week to week is that his psychological health of whether he wants to play football or not, or is that the is he legitimately hurt?
Sure?
Right, goes back to some of the I don't doubt that Anthony Richardson's dealing with a million things. But could he play football maybe, but the Colts probably want Joe Flacco's consistency there, So gamesmanship all around.
DeVante Adams' loss has been the game to someone like Brock Bowers to talk about the tight end pace. Yeah, so Bowers has been great. I've got him in one league as well. He's come through solidly. Disappointed in Sam Laporta obviously, the buye was also played hurt at the start of the year. But as we talked about in the pod that we had yesterday, Aiden Hutchinson's injury I think is going to force the Lions to score more points, so he could be a possibility. And anybody who took Mark Andrews brutal, Yeah, absolutely brutal. But I don't even know if there's I don't know if there's light at the end of the tunnel. Considering how good the Ravens have been playing and how good their other tight end. You know, Isaiah likely, obviously he's had a role, but even Kohler's been getting some run. I don't even know how much you could count on Mark Andrews at this point now.
I mean, look, a couple of weeks ago he was lauded for his pancake blocks. And if you want Derek Henry to stay at the number one running back, guess what Mark Andrews is the guy that's probably going to be in there to block for him. A couple of guys from injuries, Dan Ingram and In Djoku. Sure, I mean the Cleveland stinks as a whole, but you know, the injury certainly doesn't help. They're down in the forties in terms of early performances from tight ends as we roll it through its position, that's been odd as can be.
Right.
Cole Comet right now in PPR League ranks third. He's had two good games. He's got a twenty five and he's got a twenty four.
The Dallas Goddard has the huge game against the Saints. Yeah, you know, and now aj Brown and DeVante Smith are back, so and Gottard stinged up himself, so fortunes can change quickly.
No, that's it.
He had a zero this week's seven to one six eight twenty seven, thirteen point two than the bye week and that is zero. So yeah, it's it's the ebb and flow of things.
You know.
Kyle Pitts is in the top ten. Shows you where we're at with the position for this year. There it is. I allowed you all to yell an exclamation cursing Kyle Pitts out for one of the years that he screwed your fantasy team.
I'll give you two other names. Hit me a disappointment. I'm sorry. I know it's not realistic, but I still think it is realistic. Taysom Hill availability has not been there, so that's been a bit of a downfall. And I thought Dalton Schultz would have more of a role with the Texans. I did too, and he has not been not even in the top twenty so far.
He has not had a game above a seven to five.
Ouch.
Yeah, and there's so many mouths to feed.
Yeah, right now, Joe Mixon his back, you know, look, he got screwed on a hip drop tackle against Chicago miss time. I do like that he called it out. I don't think he got the same outrage as we talk about a lot, the selective outrage for injuries and aggrievances, you know, being the aggrieved party in circumstances where you felt like you were done wrong. I don't think he got enough. Like we do it with all sorts of other hit, hits and things in football. We don't do it with the hip drop tackle nearly with the same vitriol that maybe we should.
Well, said Mike Harmon. All right, that's it for me on our third of the year review. You got anything else, I Mike, you want to add?
And anybody else you want to either you know, praise or.
Did anyone mention Tucker Craft yet packers tight end actually done?
There you go, it's another one.
You just did a couple of monster games for him, helping him push him into a top five. But yeah, it's I guess it goes to the overall order of things. Is you know, you like when stuff is a you know, like you used to do in school, It's like, hey, it's on this slope, and that's just where we're at, right, there's a straight line.
There's no straight lines in any of this.
Sure, like very few guys have been consistent on a week to week to where there's not some wild variants. And I guess that's why we we love all two hundred and seventy two of these glorious games.
George Kittle missed a game and is leading everybody.
Yeah, you know, a touchdown every week, it seems like.
But you know, if at draft time you're not knowing that Christian McCaffrey's not going to be there, and do you think Brandon Ayukul just seamlessly slide right in and then that's not happened.
But with Kittle, you were also questioning, I know I did, how healthy is he.
Going to be?
Yep?
Yeah right.
I mean when we look at the older guys like him and it's all old, you know, as I just celebrated my birthday yesterday, you know, old is all relative thing. But you know I had to do that with a trip to the endercronologists by the way, Oh okay, that was my big birthday trip.
Yeah.
Hey, let's go make sure your liver and your inside you're working, old man. But that to say, you know, as we're doing draft evaluations, especially at the running back and tight end wide receiver to a degree, but you figure if you're still being counted on as the number one, you'll still be able to perform to a level. But we look at running backs and tight ends going all right, where's the cliff?
How close is the cliff?
Yes?
And Kittle was one of those guys I think come come back to the draft. By default, he got pushed up into a top six or top seven at the position, but seeing what he's done thus far, no nobody expected that.
