I’m a veteran, author, and journalist that’s sold more than 1200 copies of my debut book, “The Second Sun,” after going viral on TikTok in June. Growing up, I was the third born but the first to graduate high school. I was viciously abused by my parents. They both have suffered from some form of addiction. I taught myself to write while serving in the US Navy as a Corpsman right after high school, and after leaving, I learned a University education wasnt for me, despite winning the highest award for short fiction and poetry at two different colleges in their annual creative writing contests.  While living in Louisiana, I was hired by a film director to help complete his script and got to work on a film set.  I became an EMT around the age of 23, then a 911 dispatcher at 26 before earning, by audition, a job at a newspaper. At this point, I was 27 years old and won awards from two Texas Press Associations for feature writing and photography. Amidst this time and in earlier years, I would exchange letters with Pulitzer Prize winning writer Robert Olen Butler.  I later became sober from alcohol, as my Tourette’s manifested in a way I could no longer ignore and I spent five years battling worsening symptoms and not writing a word. Several dozen times a day, my ticks force me to slap, punch, and claw myself in the face. It makes me call myself names very loudly that I won’t write here, I say I hate myself, and I’m often laughed at in public, (however, it’s not malicious) additionally, I’ve lost much of the feeling in my right hand from chronic swelling and impact injuries, as it compels me to punch hard surfaces around me. I’m currently wearing bandages and tape on two fingers, and a thumb brace from an injury resulting from just that.  On October 16, 2021, I surrendered that fight and began writing once more. Growing up as the son of author and composer BB Johnson AKA Joseph Greene (Together Brothers, Across the Alley from the Alamo) DaVon and Greene (the pen name of Jonathan Greene) knew writing was in his blood. Drawn towards cartels, crime, and drugs  DaVon and Greene completed his first serious undertaking in his early teens and gave it to his father's friend, Saul David (Director: Logan's Run and Fantastic Voyage) to get an honest critique. Saul was intrigued, but wasn't overwhelmed. His critique sent  DaVon and Greene’s  life into a whole other direction, putting down the pen and entering the world that he wrote about in an endless cycle that there was no escape from, ultimately leading to incarceration.  After jail, employment was hard to find, so when  DaVon and Greene’s now wife offered him a job interview at a beer company he seized the opportunity. Working hard he rose through the ranks with promotion after promotion. Within six months  DaVon and Greene was on a six figure salary. Several years later,  DaVon and Greene’s beer career came to a halt when the company was sold. So  DaVon and Greene started flipping Real Estate which provided him with a life filled with fast cars, boats and houses, until the crash of 2007. Not to be defeated,  DaVon and Greene turned to insurance, then consulting before starting a successful trucking business. Resting in his truck at night gave  DaVon and Greene time to write and finally fulfil his dream to become an author. Tom grew up in an Italian/Puerto Rican family with his parents and his sister, Celene. Rudi was born into a family who knew she was destined for music. Her grandfather passed away right before she was born, and her grandmother was convinced that Rudi was her grandfather reincarnated. Rudi's grandfather was a talented Mariachi musician and the only other singer in the family. Rudi also loves mariachi and Spanish music and it's how she stays connected with her heritage. Chechi is a first-generation Nigerian-American whose full name means "God's wish" in Igbo. From age 13, Chechi began writing songs and turning heads with her whistle notes. Growing up, Deejay's mom was a choir director and encouraged him to sing. By age 5, he was cast in a gospel play that toured in the summers through Florida, Georgia and Alabama. Dave Albin was born in 1954 at Queen of Angels Hospital in Hollywood, California to a single mother.  He was adopted by his Aunt & Uncle on his mother’s side at the age of 5. His adoptive parents told Dave they were not his parents at the age of 11.  Later that year both his adoptive parents started drinking.  This is where Dave’s life took a hard turn. Dave tried alcohol at the age of 11. By the time he was 14 he was experimenting with hard drugs.  Grossly addicted to drugs and alcohol he joined AA some 20 years later in June 1988. This is when Dave was introduced to the personal development industry. He attended a seminar with Tony Robbins in 1995 where he did his first firewalk.  Dave went on to work for Tony Robbins for just shy of 20 years as Tony’s Firewalk Captain. Stee never wanted to be compared to his parents, who were classically trained singers. Instead, he grew up wanting to be an engineer until he heard R&B vocalist Mario and felt inspired. In 2014, he formed his band and performed at weddings and other events. One of Stee's biggest fans and supporters was his cousin, Matthew, who also wanted to be a singer, but struggled with diabetes, which physically prohibited him from living his dream. James was born in Bridgeport Connecticut on March 28, 1975 to Donald & Elaine Norkawich and from there the story begins. For Tim Brown’s entire life, God has placed him in positions that surrounded him with men.
