17-Year-Old San Antonio Entrepreneur Is Helping People Find Jobs & Scholarships | Nikita Tejwani

At just 17 years old, Nikita Tejwani is turning a personal family challenge into an opportunity to help others succeed.

A senior at Brandeis High School in San Antonio, Texas, Nikita is the founder of Calyqen, a career platform designed to support job seekers, and Meriqen, a scholarship discovery and tracking platform helping students navigate their educational futures.

Inspired by her mother's job search, Nikita also launched Caly Cares, an initiative offering free community workshops focused on résumé building, job applications, and interview preparation.

Through two workshops with SA Youth, 49 participants submitted 31 job applications. Nikita has also worked with adult job seekers at BiblioTech, helping make career opportunities more accessible.
