We’re all about this EP…King Size candy bar style!

I am all in. I am all in with Scott Patterson and I heart radio podcast. Everybody, Scott Patterson, I am all in podcast And here we are joined by Tara sud Hello, Tara. Daniel Romo back from her her tour. You were on tour. I was on the road that life man. You're on the East coast to life. You getting to ours of sleep of night is just not good. It's not my bad. It's for the birds man. I like my bed at home and at least four hours asleep at least. Also, Daniel also wanted goes to bed at like what eight nine? I go to it at nine nineties. You're not, Scott, to be early too. I've got you. I put my little guy to sleep. And and then do you keep your phone on? Because I think Danielle turns hers off. But I feel like sometimes if I text you it late at night, you'll respond, Scott, I do not disturbed, Otherwise I won't sleep. But I got you at five thirty am. Text me at five thirty am. I will respond right back. Now. Does anyone have I heard there's like if you put your phone on silence, you can have emergency breakthroughs like certain yeah, do you have any of those? Yeah, so when I put my phone and do not disturb my husband, my mom, my dad, my brother, and my sister if they call me, my phone rings really Yeah, I have my mom and my dad and my grandma. Phone is never off. It's a good thing, you know, mine's and I never turn it off. Their mind's always on. If you call me, I will answer. It's always just a little bit too far away at night. Can't get it. Sorry, Oh my god, you guys, what this is the best thing. It's Halloween today. Yes, there's a holiday reference and the and it is Halloween today, right, Danielle. Yeah, I felt good to watch this episode in the same season that we're living in real life. Doesn't it feel so much better that Danielle's back. It was like it was we didn't we got through the last episode without you. I don't know how we did it. I mean, we were just like gasping for air. Did anyone think though, secretly that I hope it's Christmas When it's Christmas time, I'm hoping that, like it's gonna work mathematics. I just remember season in season two or no season in season three, it was Halloween for ten years, Like it was just like literally gins for ten years. This setting not an actual the Halloween reference though, true, true, true, because it's Gilmore Girls time. Don't you listen to Miles Teller. It's gil Girls time. He's he's talking Gilmore Girls. Yes, remember we sent you the Svennite Live clip that is he's so good my pumpkin spice candle. On watching this, I didn't even know that that you could hand out king size candy bars. Yeah, so you definitely can. What's the difference between full size and king size? King is bigger? Yeah, like if you get the king size, ess it has an extra cup. No, so there's you know, I mean no, there's like five because like the full like the oh my god, that's more than double right if there's two, so the regulars four, So the king size would be no, dude, sorry, the regulars too, so the king size would be Okay. So it's done. And then with twigs it's like the same thing. Yeah, candy companies aren't messing around there. What do you what are you handing out tonight? Tonight? You know, we have a wide Schmoger's board candies. We have it on a flatter and we have lollies, we have we have chocolate e things, we have all kinds of stuff. We even have a fruit selection. If somebody wants an apple, they can have an apple. Guy, you got a granola bar. If somebody, We're doing apples too, but we're not doing bananas. I saw on TikTok there are halloween size bags of chips. I think Frieda Lays maybe. Oh, yeah, I've seen. I tried hard. I tried. I tried everywhere, Target, Walmart, everywhere. I couldn't get them there. So I feel like you have to get it earlier in the season. Yeah. Oh, anybody get Melamar's they're back. No, oh my god, Tara, we really ails. We should have done that. We should have trying to find us. I'm gonna try. I'm gonna try. I'm gonna make it my own job. I'll make a bown job. I'll bring it to you guys. Daniel you're gonna get trick or traders. So it's my first time on Halloween at this my new house, and allegedly it gets wild here, Like my my neighbor was like, Danielle, you need to make sure you have at least seven hundred pieces of candy like minimum. She's like, you will run out, just collect. I was collecting bags October one, like every time I went to the grocers, are I'm like, all right, here's another bag, another bag. Yeah, I get I have three, which is cauldron's full and they'll be gone. Yeah. We we we kind of went all out with the decorations out on the pH Oh, we've got gravestones. Wait did you put on your Instagram? No? No, no, no, no, no, I don't know. I keep my house very kind of, you know, out of the social media sphere. Come on, you know. No, We've got We've got we've got skeletons coming out of the ground, hands coming in, skulls coming out of the ground. We've got spider webs, We've got all kinds of things. We've got ghosts flying around the gutters. It's it's amazing. Oh yeah, Nick, he orchestrated the whole thing. It was his vision. Oh I love it, Daniels. You do put spooky stuff. I did. But this might be inappropriate for this podcast. But my neighbor just crushed literally crushed with all capital letters the Halloween decoration game. And I'm going to just text inappropriate inappropriate? Is it dirt adult? Well, it just involves I'll just leave it at that. I was going to say, I was going to say a different feword. No, no, no, no, it's just so freaking funny combining Halloween with that. It's just you're you're correct. Your assessment is is it is inappropriate? We don't really want to mix mix thing? Did you send it it? Oh? It's so good. It's just the best thing. It's not inappropriate. The disco ball at the top and the fake money hole dancing skeleton with like a male skeleton waiving money in his chair. That's so funny. It's hilarious, hilarious. Okay, alright, it's like moving on's back to you, back to Gilmore girls only in California. You gotta see that with the drought grass. Can I can I send this to people? Of course? Okay? Can we put this on our instrugram? Probably have to get permission. See if your neighbor will let us post it. It's so good. Okay, Moving right along, Season four, episodes six and A Fair to Remember. Um love it. I love it so much? Who was synopsizing? Should take it back? Right synopsize? Um? Okay, So season, season four, episode six in Affair to Remember Your Date October three, and the synopsis is Emily hires Lora Leon Suki to cater an elaborate launch party for Richard's new company, but insist they proved that they're worthy of her trust. Rory is frustrated with her sweet mates as she struggles to find a quiet, steady spot. Kirk is driving Luke crazy with preparations for his date and is confused when the date goes well. Dude, Scott, yes, yes, yes, slow clap for you because your scenes with Kirk. Oh, these were very funny. He hit me, He hit me. You shut up, don't say that he starts hitting me. It was you played grouchy Luke with a heart so amazingly. Thank you. I get it, we'll get We're gonna get to it. But what do we think of the episode? Let's go around the table here, what do we think of the episode? I loved it. I thought it was super super cute. Um I really was drawn to Rory's scenes. Um at Yale for sure. I cannot stop laughing because we've all been there where the roommate just blows and you're just like, I can't live with this person anymore. See. I think that's the brilliance of Gilmore Girls, because Rory looking for a place to study is so nothing. It's dumb, it's nothing, and they make it brillianting. Yeah, so that's what I love. It's such a small, little nuanced thing and then they make it a whole episode and it's hilarious. What do you think? It wasn't my favorite. I got like five minutes into it and then like lost like focus and started over. But I feel but I still enjoyed it. It's just not my favorite episode, Amy, Amy, I sorry, clearly one of her favorites. This is what I've seen this one more than than I've seen, you know, like this one. I think I've seen probably five, six, seven times because one of my favorites. Because I'll go on a limb. Well, I like Digger, See I don't. I don't And there is a favorite part I have in this but I don't like Digger. He bugs me. Oh my god, Scott, you'd be that you'd be the judge because I think they're banter is hilarious. Um. You know, as I was watching the episode, um, I wasn't getting the big laughs then I'm used to, but I enjoyed it because I think what Amy wrote was more of a drama this time. That worked. It was a Gilmore all involved Gilmore drama the way we like it, right, because it was also interwoven Um Richard's business, Rory and then so they were all connecting at Suki with the you know, the catering Emily's cocktail party, launch party for the new business for Digger and and and Richard um. And when I was finished, I said, you know, I, when I was finished the episode, I thought, boy, I like that. That was It was a smart episode. It was it. The tone was kind of perfect. It never went too wacky. Um. The Kirk stuff was appropriate because that's Kirk and you and and you were hoping to get the gold from Kirk and Kirk. I think it's I think it's Kirk at its best. They gave Kirk a lot of heavy lifting, and he delivered what's the word, hugely bigly, right, he really did. And UM, you know, the rest of it was, you know, it was a nice arc with what Emily was going through and the nice resolution when Laurel I stood up for her, and I kind of envibeing Danielle and and Tara somewhat on the digger thing. No, no no, no, it's it's I like the banter. I think it's really great. It's quick, it's all it's all great. Yeah, they've got this history and um, but yeah, I don't know. I at the end when she's like they she says, oh yeah, you know, emilyle hate that if we go on a date. I was just like, it wasn't for me. It wasn't the highlight of the episode, you know, But I just saw the highlight is for me Luke and Kirk. But I think that the episode really ties together beautifully. I think it's a very well written, well acted, well directed episode. I really very strong, strong episode. Little lighter on the comedy, right, little lighter and big big on the heart and big on the relationships, and um, really quite poignant and a little more dramatic than without being sort of overtly dramatic or overly dramatic. I thought it had just a nice and you feel for Emily and you're like, oh my god. And it was so like it's so not over the top. Like even Kirk, who is just his middle name, is over the top. He's like she's still there. Gone to the bathroom three times and I didn't even have to go and she's still there, and it's like and she touched the hand, and it's like, oh my god, Lulu, we met lu Lu. When I met Lulu. So Emily, that was to act with your eyes, to act with tears, like not tears, but like tears in your eyes, and the motion in both their faces. Yeah, this was this was Emily's episode. She really carried this. Uh you know, I was with her the whole way, and it was just like and she had a point, you know. It's like and the really, I think the reason that we are a little on the I don't know, maybe we're not so enamored of Digger is because he actually stormed in and took that away from Emily. It's like, and I think I think the one logic thing that really bothered me about the episode was Digger and we'll take the clients to Atlantic City and there's nothing like a client waking up, we doesn't know where he is with a hooker in his bed, and it's like, yeah, I'm like, wow, yes, sir, and I'm thinking, really, I mean, this is Richard Gilmore and he started launching a new business. I don't think any clients would want to go to Atlantic City that we're from Hartford who were wealthy and you know, had their reputations to to tend to seven, which is what they do, and to go off to Atlantic City is just kind of it was just an odd reference. It was an odd Yeah. Yeah, you're so right, because Digger is super disrespectful to to one Emily, but he thinks he can just come on in and be like, no, you gotta do this, this is better, you know, and it's like, no, Richard is a very respectable man, and and like you said, he's not just going to send his clients to Atlantic City. You know. It's like, who does he think he is to just also say that in front of Emily. That's really disrespectable inappropriate. Yeah yeah, and for Richard not to like back, you know, say uh no, that's not what if we were to go to Atlantic City, I'm not going to do that or whatever. I don't know. It was just so no, no, no, And that's why Laura like comes at him. She's all you know. And then I love that scene because it's like they're having that bounce bounce back and forth, and then he's like, so go to dinner with me, and she's like no, gross, like shut up, but what is that? But what sorry? But what does that do to Laura like character? She's defending her mother finally in a way that really had me on the edge of my seat right like, yes, yes, she's really you know, now mother and daughter could come together, that could be a meeting of the minds. And she's acting like a daughter. She's being loyal and she's you know, she's understanding her mom and she's bridging the generation gap and really representing the family. And then and he's supposed to be so he's supposed to be so charming, uh that she agrees to a date because it's gonna because it's really gonna bug Emily, And she's like, hey, right, right right, So I thought that I thought it weakened her in that moment and it took away from what could have been a really nice scene. I agree with you, Yeah, that's a good point. Can we go back to the beginning because I think the other thing that's so gilmore and we've maybe never talked about the importance of that first scene before the credits, because if they hook you. I feel like it gives you that momentum. And that scene to me was so fast, so hilarious. They're talking about the king size candy bars and the neighbor and Richard and Emily are all upset like how dare they? And the ball machine and then the joke about the flying thumping balls and you are four, and then it keeps going and it's so fast and so us all the way to the mini lemon bunt cake. Laurel I says about the full size of the Richmond's and I'm just like, boom, but that but that, that whole discussion seemed real to you? Oh it seemed Gilmore didn't matter? Did it matter? I mean, are they really they're really going to be upset about the neighbors giving out larger candy. It's a competition. Yes, that's real, I literally and Richard would care about something like that, Yeah, I think I care about it. I bought the bigger candy bars versus a little fun fun size one. I'm just like, I got the size just above it because they didn't want to be the neighbor that gave the little tiny candy. I agree, And I have my candy because I want them to take handfuls. It's not like you take one handfuls. You come, you dip in the witch's cauldron and you take handfuls. That is so real I can say. I remember going trick or treating me like, oh my god, that one house in that neighborhood, like they give the big, full size candies. I'm going back. So they want to be known as that, you know, I remember growing up in my neighborhood, people would give out a lot of candy because so their houses wouldn't be toilet paper or egg. I saw some one's house tp recently, I'm like, oh they still do that. Oh my god. It happens around here so much. I really can't get it. The trees are so big they can't get it out on up the street has had toilet paper in their trees. Oh my god, Oh my god. Okay, So then the photo shoot that was also seemed pretty real. The guy took two pictures and left one pictures. He's got it and with this German accent helmet than he. But then I love how Emily made fun of Digger. Think it's cute like that right off the bat, she's triggered by that guy. She's triggered by the digger. Yeah. I guess that's that's his purpose in this play, if you will, it's too to trigger trigger people. Yeah, trigger the audience, trigger Emily, trigger Laurela. Yeah. How do you feel being back at Yale? When we go back to Yale? Um? Yeah it was again. I'm you know, we're surrounded by phone, phone ringing and phone buzzing and phone stuff and yelling and stuff that's pretty chaotic and stressful. Yeah. Uh boor Rory not having a place to study. Uh. I thought it was a good a good gag when she got home and come on some headphones. But okay, yeah, well true, but you know, maybe that's not her jam Man. Maybe you know that's not how she she flies. But yeah, did anyone catch what Tana was watching? I was looking at the furniture she had the CNN on. Yeah, I was just looking at the French fan like, wow, this living area looks great. So it's so nice. I still can't get over that they have a fireplace, Like what university trust a college kit of a fire you know what I mean. I'm like, jeez, that is not real. Uh what do you all think we're jumping time about Paris and Jamie fighting. I mean, it's like it was high school boyfriend turned college boyfriend. I feel like it was bounced happen. Yeah, exactly. I agree, completely shocked that Paris would have would have conflict with anyone. It gave Paris something to do. She gets out of bed and yells at the sheets. You know what I mean. I wonder what they're fighting about. Ah, hey, they didn't tell us. I know, it doesn't matter. I mean, but Paris would get mad at like, yeah, like literally anything. So yeah, she'd scream at a squirrel. Are you sure they didn't tell us why? I think we don't know. It's like we don't really know. She's not answering his call, but I can't remember what. And then she gets on with him and says like some you know, they kind of say like I just don't agree with you. I'm not gonna agree with you, and then she's got to go outside. I'm gonna re reread the script. PRB guys. Okay, Well, while Danielle tries to figure that out, we also have all the things going on at the end. Those mail boxes. Oh my god, the mailbox. K it's so good. Delivering the goods and yeah, this was a real Kirk and the slam at Condolieza Rice just open her mouth and shoving all that mail was the gut was the was the male mailbox? Bush President? Yeah, it looked like the barn one was cute. Oh, Daniell's got something. Yeah, okay, this is what I remember. So Rory asked Paris, why are you and Jamie fighting? And Paris says because he's wrong, And then Paris goes, he won't listen to me, Um, you won't listen to me. He's in love with the sound of his own boy as you think. He was already president and I don't want to be Hillary. I don't want to wait for a hundred years while he does his things. So but by the time I get my chance, I'm too old to enjoy it. That's right. That was funny. Do you think that Suki and lore Lee should take a job with Emily? I think I think yeah. It helps because of who her her friends are, and they always have parties absolutely pretty pretty money too. They need the money. Oh yeah, okay, so I guess let's there's so many storylines. Let's break down that whole thing. The catering job and go through that. Can we talk about the broccoli tarts? Oh my god? The little gross? What is a broccoli tart? Probably exactly what it sounds like. Is it whipped up like quison arded broccoli? And way too many? Yeah, way too many. Even if there's two people at that party, that was too many. His entire room was filled. And aren't they going to be gross if the parties like days away? Why is there already like four thousand broccoli point? Wouldn't they freeze them? Yes? Yeah, but stink. He seems like someone who doesn't free stuff. She seems like a fresh fresh bakes. Are we finding all these inconsistencies as we go? Maybe we enjoyed this episode, but there are some Yeah, but I don't mind. I also prefer a keysh to a tart any day. Yeah, broccoli, maybe that's what it was what she called it a tart? Also a pig and a blanket, No, you saw them it was the tart. Wasn't just a green like there was like it was a broccoli tart for sure kind of And then how about the fact that Emily only takes like it smells little you've ever seen of the of the tasting and that floppy asparagus. You know, she she looked like she'd done it a million times before. Yeah, that's like a normal Tuesday. Then it's so sweet. It just breaks my heart, so sweet when she comes over and says to Lorelai, like, your your play setting was perfect and the food was amazing, and she's so brokenhearted. I loved that moment. Oh my god, I loved it so much. That was my favorite moment from this episode because it's the side of Emily we've never really seen before. Well, she was just like, she's so such a critical person to begin with and so picky, and to to have that moment where her daughter delivers something that she couldn't even pick apart and she realizes, oh, my daughter is good at what she does. Like, that's what I that's what I registered. Emily was like, oh, um, must have done something right in a weird way. It's nice to see Emily vulnerable like that. Yeah, because it's a real it's a long journey from what she you know, her the front she puts up to that, So it's nice to see. It's nice to see people coming together like that. And I'm no expert, but I feel like that scene was perfect, acting justly. God, did you guys like at all feel that Emily Like it would be one thing if Richard canceled the party or went a different route. But the fact that she was actually working with Laurela and Suki on this and the fact that it was working well and not a disaster that made her more bummed than the actual cancelation of the party. I think so, yeah, I think yeah, and just have to go over. That's why she went in person and went over, drove forty minutes whatever it is, twenty I don't know if it's twenty or forty, it's definitely twenty to the house to tell her in person. Like I think she ate them for the what they've done. I think she wanted more than anything to do it with do this with Lorea lie like she wanted that. Yeah, because she says she's still paying them right, like she's still going to pay for she donna pay them for the costs they've already recent, that's they've already spent. It was. It was a nice scene in a very nice gesture, and it was it was heartbreaking. And then when Loreaa gets fired up Scott Danielle Where did you think she was going? Did you think fired up? Who's remember? So after Emily leaves and Loria lies like so heartbroken and she gets her jacket and or she I think she Suki and Rory are there and she gets her jacket and off. Remember she's all fired, right, she she puts two and two together and wanted went to where did you think she was going to kick some digger at? Yeah, she's going to go see Richard. Oh no, I knew where she was going. Yeah, there's a digger for here. And I like that she stood up for um. She stood up for Emily. You don't see that often from Laura. Also in a realistic way. She's like, look, dude, imagine your mom. This is her job, is her life, and you're coming in and like pooping on it. And he didn't care. He no, he didn't care. He didn't change his mind. He said, no, we're going to Atlantic City. We're doing it's already been paid. But he didn't know that she would be this upset. And he didn't know that Laureli was a caterer. Do you think he knew Lorelai would come? No? No way. Oh, so you're thinking he did that on purpose, just to get Laura his face, just the thought. Yeah, no, count your mind works like you're on forensic files. No, but I mean somebody is as maybe maybe you know, maybe Digger is playing chess and everybody else is playing checkers. Right, I don't really think that canceled, But I'm just saying, like, I wonder if after the fact, he's like, because he didn't even know she was a caterer, why would she come. You're assuming he didn't know. You're assuming he doesn't have like postcards all over his office, like moving the pieces around. If I do this this one, you know what I mean? Amy has a point. He probably he probably didn't know that. Can we all agree just because it's so good that, let's just say Jason Styles is on more episodes? Can we just call him Digger always and never? I feel like he's always Diggers. He's Jason, but I want to go him Digger. Wait, you guys, M what does that even mean? That was her? No? I know I know that was her nickname, but what is that? What is an lot? What's a digger? Is digger any kind of famous? At some point I can't remember, didn't they say why he's named Digger. I feel like they did. I think somebody. But I think we're going to get a message pretty soon here. Yeah, is he digg Instagram and definitely let us know. I'm googling why is he Digger? Stuff? I think we're going to get a hand a message any minute here, still waiting on it. I'm trying. I'm gonna try and beat her. I'm looking, I'm looking whoa Jason went to Harvard, although his father, like Richard, went to Yale. Jason has at least one sibling. Huh. I don't know where I found it. I found an article that says Gilmore Girls. Three insignificant but still annoying things that never were explained. Number three is why is Jason Styles called Digger? During his introduct he was explained that Jason as a child went by the nickname Digger. He admittedly hated the um the nickname is adult both what happened? I'm just reading all these threads about why Loreal is called It's really bad? Oh is it? Yeah? The continued tell us about Digger. Basically, the reason why this is annoying is that it was never explained except that it was his nickname. But is digger like Junior like is digger like for fancy fancy people? Is digger a common nickname? That's what it's saying. This article is saying that the issue with this nickname is that it was it never explained what was the origin of the nickname. Do you wanna know what the other? Trip? Is Digger like Trip? You know how like your names like Bobby Jones the third and they call you Trip is digger like Trip? Jackie's got something for us? Yeah, I found it a vowel German Hungarian to indicate a different vowel quality, usually fronting or rounding lot. It's basically the two dots over like something. So it's in reference to breast right because she she because she fell in the water and you could see her. But wait, you guys could see her. Yeah, this says origin of the nickname Digger. The nickname Digger was first applied to the Mariori Pioneers after the mammoth task of digging Turk Lane and fish Alley then add the name digger. What. I don't know it's historical, I don't. I honestly think that it was just like, let's give him this nickname. That's they knew, they've known each other since they were kids. That's it. I don't think there was much thought can be offensive, it can be as urging term. So maybe we shouldn't call him Digger. I guess when they first when Digger first came around, Um, I guess, he said that his nickname was Digger as a kid. So I think maybe it's just a family nickname. Digger. Yea his name. I hope it's not offensive, and we're saying it like everything that's in the show. So they're making it up. Let us know, and we can call him. We can call him styles too. Anyway, Now you get confused with Harry to tonight Harry Harry, where is he plays? He playing him? Oh my goodness. Wow. Okay, as we go back, can we all just talk about the fact that laurelized hair with the waves the curl is just so good. Mm hmm, nobody. I'll just with you, guys, don't like her hair with the waves. I think she looks good. Yeah, she looks. It's shorter, right they cut it, Yeah, but I feel I can't tell because of the waves. But you know what, also has one of my most favorite ever Gilmore outfits, ever, the black pants with the black short sleeve sweater with the white like collar and things popping out. That's like one of the most my favorite Gilmore outfits ever. You know what, Jennifer Andison wore the same shirt and friends? Really no, I have the photo, I have the photographic evidence. Oh my god, wait, show it, yes, Jennifer Anderson, and I can't tell if it's one shirt or two. And then did you also notice very subtle go back and rewatch this scene. Lorela goes into the diner. She takes her leather jacket off, and she subtly rolls down the white under the black sweater because they pop up. I think when she's got the jacket on, she takes it up and it's just very seamless. She like puts them down. How do we see the Jennifer Aniston, Well, we'll get to it when I get around to my crack staff sending me inconsistencies in the show. Should we talk about Kirk and Lulu and Scott? I mean Luke? I just called Luke you Kirk Blue Luke Luke. It's only been a generation ago. Uh yeah, let's let's uh, let's what do you think of them? Kirk and Lulu. M Well, I think they're very cute. Let's use the word cute together, right, And I think it's hilarious because he can't seem to deal with acceptance and about the fact that he's the brother so she is the brother's ex. What I did love how he was like, I have an appointment to take someone to dinner. It's like that's a date, dude, Like, why are you calling it an appointment? And he wanted to do it at his house, but then his mom would have been there, and he's all, I don't have high hopes. But should he even be going out with Lulu? It's or is his brother's ex? Why not? I mean I feel like that's town so small. Anyways, Yeah, you guys, what, Danielle, if your sister starts dating your ex boyfriend, how do you feel about that? I mean, go for it, like, I don't care, No, it would be weird, I agree, But it's very kirk, very kirk. Yeah, you know, I don't. He doesn't. It probably doesn't have a lot of options, so he's got to take the ones that he had cats, right, I mean, of course he can't even believe that she didn't ditch it. And then I love that he wants Lorla to come over to look at the outfit choices or he's going to bring him over. Very sweet guys. And then he's practicing, practicing for the date like a director cut himself. And he goes over that woman in the diner, goes, what are you having? And she's like the meat lo and he is it getting you high? This is to me, the best we've ever seen Kirk. Without question, this was awesome. Well, I feel like he had a real, like expanded storyline and it's been a while since we always get like he works at the beauty salon or whatever. It's like a full story and I'm like, he irritates Luke, but Luke's like, Okay, we'll reserve a table for you, like not three, but I'll do one. And he's got the candles and the whole thing. And like Luke, for how grouchy he is, he's just supporting his dude. You know, He's like, this guy's my pal. I'm gonna I'm gonna help him out. I think you're the reason. You're like, go back out there and be you. You've only gotten to the whatever scene and pretty in pink with the ducky and you're like, you got plenty more to go. Well, you know, maybe he should take his own advice. Oh yeah, he can roll it out. But can he take his own advice and get what he wants? But yeah, So do you think, Danielle, do you think Lulu and Kirk might have a future. Let's get on the benefit the benefit of the doubt. Why not you go, Kirk, I'm reading for you this little suit. Look, she could be the future Lulu Gleason. Oh yeah, that Kirk's last name. It's Kirk Gleeson. Yeah, oh my god. All right, So should we talk about the tree study spot? I think we should. It's rooted very deeply in the episode. Sorry, don't leave me hanging. I don't want to go out on a limb, but I think it was very important story. That's good. Oh my god. But if you were a boy, don't you think that, Like, sorry, you're that dude, You're going to be that much of a jerk to this like little girl who just wants to sit on your really right guy, random guy reading truck Trucker magazine every day, He's going to like she's annoying him. But a guy is still going to get up. It's the like well mannered thing to do, right, I mean, chivalry is clearly dead in this in that instance. Sure, yeah right. I thought I thought at least he was gonna ask her out. I thought it would lead to something. I just thought he was going to not be an ass and that he'd be like, yeah, sure, like there's plenty of the trees. And then he takes her twenty bucks, like takes off. This is not a gentleman m hm. But she got her tree. She's learning how to deal with the real world. Now she's she's she's not in in Oz anymore. Right, No. But my only other like flag on the play is you know, when the tarts are everywhere, why didn't Lord I just say, go study in my room. I was thinking the same things, just go upstairs, shut the door. But it's not her room, it's not her space, you know, she she needs to be. But else do we forget? I feel like I love this episode. I mean I love this, you know, I don't want to The tree stuff was uneventful for me. It was it was okay, it wasn't like, you know, every time they went back to the tree stuff, I was like, oh, great, we're finally back. It's it's okay. Yeah. I like how she was so happy when she found the tree. You know, I wanted her to put a blanket down. I thought I thought she was going to get her pants would get soiled. He reminded me of when, like, well, when we used to go to the office, like you kind of always had like a parking spot that was not officially yours, but it was yours and you'd get there like two minutes late and someone took it and you're like, really, that's my spot. Your days ruined? Yeah, gonna lie I parked in when we used to go to the office, I parked in Ryan Seacrest spots. So I was that person, right did he ever? Did he ever say anything to you? Like no, because he wasn't there. I knew he wasn't there. Yeah, but that one time you don't think he's going to be there. He pulls up and it's an emergency and he would yeah if he was coming out. Now, um, Scott's want to give us? Should we tell you how many broccoli tarts we would give this? Or should we go to your your research? Oh yeah, talking about yourself. Let me find the research. Well, I need to go back to doing favorite quotes because I think people really like those. Totally give him my game, Like twenty has anyone ever had a lobster pot pie? All right? You one trying to make one. It's like, looking, we need to find somebody who can do cooking segments on Instagram. I'm going to find that first. Right here we go, also sounds harden. I bet that's not cheap cookies and stuff lobster. I'm gonna find somebody who's gonna be our guinea pig making ladies and gentlemen. My crack team, my crack staff that's on Earth. I actually have a crack staff and they are dedicated researchers. No, no, no, no, I have There's people. Yeah, yeah, there's there's Suzanne, there's Elaine, There's all kinds of people. There's John John. No, no, no, no, these are real people. These are verifiable people with social Security numbers, Susanne, John and Elaine. It's not lying. I don't lie. That's not a lie. Marcia, Jane and Cindy, Rachel, Monica and beebe a banana relaxed, and Bobby found this for you. Give it to Mary, Kate and Ashley, Hotsy Ralph and we're going out the rails. Oh, here we go. Let's let's tighten it up. Gang Wars and Roy are Oh no, he grows right as he's giving us the best stop work. After all that, he's got a call Ronnie, Bobby, Rickey and Mike and see if they can. Oh my god, timing of that. Keep it, don't even edit this. Keep this in. I'm trying. Oh, he goes, this is so good. Keep it. Oh my god. Just as we're like trying to find out the answers Alvin Simon and Theodore's I'm gonna I know he's gonna say clown pillow, but I'll give this one to you guys. Thirty two minutes in got a clown villa at Lately. I think Scott's going to have to go out and come back in. Yeah, there he is. What happened all of it? You frozen? Okay? And then really okay, So I'm not going to edit what we said. While you were frozen. Wait till you hear it. All right, let's get into what the uh Mannum and Jack brought to me. These are real people, Suzanne, Elaine and John. These are Cruk staffers, dedicated. We believe you give it to all right. When Paris and Roy are arguing about the ringing phone, Rory takes out her cell phone out of her bag and sets it on the desk, and the next shot it's gone, but somehow reappears on the desk while Rory is several feet away talking to Paris and scripts fault, Oh, script e, come on script Yeah, but as an act, you gotta know that stuff. You gotta know that stuff. You gotta know what you did. Yeah, right, you can't blame everything on script e. It's it's like the actor's gotta know. You gotta know your stuff. Okay. In the next shot, it's gone, but somehow reappears on the desk while Rory is several feet away talking to Paris. Then when she gives her phone to Paris to you, she removes it from her bag again, even though it was on the desk a second earlier. So it's like a like a Star Trek episode almost into She's going into a time cling on some weird things happening all right. At when Suki and Laurela are unloading the car at Emily's house, Uh, Suki walks away from the car holding four containers, but when she gets to the front door, she's holding five. Fashion alert the black shirt good. Whoever saw that staff crack probably John Susanne and Elane working on late nights getting that info combing the Vandals Industries Van fashion Alert. The black shirt with the white cuffs and collars the Lorela is wearing, as I have previously mentioned during wearing during Emily's tasting, is also worn by Jennifer Aniston. It's a great shout out juicy sweats. Yeah, that was a time. And I'm going to try to find out who designed the white shirt.
