In this episode of Hunting 4 Answers: On Easter Sunday in 1996, 72-year-old Ruthie Mae Jackson was found deceased inside her home in Dothan, Alabama. Just hours earlier, she had been preparing a holiday meal for family and friends. Police did not believe robbery was the motive, but no one was arrested. Nearly 25 years later, a reported confession appeared to offer a breakthrough, until investigators uncovered a detail that ruled out the lead. Three decades later, Ruthie's murder remains unsolved, and her loved ones are still waiting to learn who was responsible.
