Rosemarie Milsom is a leading journalist and Founder of the Newcastle Writers Festival.

Her commitment to the Newcastle arts region saw her selected for the Australia Council for the Arts Leadership Program in 2019.

The same year, she was announced as a Newton-John Award Achiever for Innovation and Creativity in Arts, Creative Sectors and Culture as part of the University of Newcastle's Alumni Awards.

Outside of her busy work schedule, Rosemarie is the proud wife of a fellow journalist and is a mother of three children. She claims to always be on the go and wishes she enjoyed coffee so she could keep up the pace.
