A couple years ago Matt got really into tracking his time for an entire year. Virtually every minute, there was an app running in the background as he was cataloging how he was spending his hours- all in an attempt to better utilize his time. And while 99% of folks will think that’s completely insane, they’ll likely admit that there might be some serious benefits to managing their time more efficiently. Similarly, we’re here to argue that negotiating is something that can benefit you regardless of what stage of life you’re in- whether you’re a student, a stay-at-home parent, or a CEO. Unfortunately there are a few misconceptions about negotiating that we’re going to tackle. But then we’ll go through a number of different factors to keep in mind that are going to make you a more effective negotiator in your day-to-day life.
