Today on Hot Mics, Billy takes a deep dive into the disturbing allegations at the center of a new lawsuit involving seven former Cornell University fraternity members and a woman identified as Jane Doe. The lawsuit alleges Jane Doe was heavily intoxicated, given ketamine and sexually assaulted by multiple men inside the Chi Phi fraternity house in October 2024. But now major questions are being raised about what happened after she reported the incident — and why criminal charges weren't brought. Tompkins County District Attorney Michael Van Houten has said his decision not to prosecute was based on the information available to him at the time. But reporting cited during today's show raises questions about what information Cornell police provided prosecutors and what Jane Doe had actually alleged in her original account. Billy breaks down the timeline, the allegations in the 101-page lawsuit, Cornell's response and the unanswered questions now surrounding the original investigation. PLUS — the fallout from the Caleb Flynn murder trial. Flynn has been convicted of aggravated murder in the death of his wife, Ashley, and now faces 20 years to life as an emotional sentencing hearing approaches. And the Lindsay Clancy case isn't over. Billy revisits his exclusive conversation with defense attorney Kevin Reddington following the latest court hearing, the legal arguments that could potentially prevent a second murder trial, and Reddington's increasingly public battle with the attorney representing the controversial holdout juror. Also on today's Hot Mics Hot List: Blake Lively's split with longtime publicist Leslie Sloane, Elliot Page's New York Magazine cover, Madonna at the VMAs and more. Subscribe to Hot Mics with Billy Bush for breaking trials, true crime, celebrity news and the stories everyone is talking about.
