Ever looked at your situation and thought, how could this possibly change? Fresh from Floriade and the Tulip Top Gardens in Canberra, Heidi Wysman reflects on the moment God led Abram out of his tent to count the stars in Genesis 15. It's a short Christian devotional on faith, hope and trusting God's promises when they feel impossible. Heidi unpacks how routines, problems and familiar surroundings can shrink our view of God, and what it might look like to step outside and let Him reset your perspective.

KEY TAKEAWAYS
God Speaks Through Creation Too: Sermons, songs and Scripture aren't the only ways God gets your attention. A garden in full bloom or a night sky can move you to tears and point you straight back to the One who made it.
A Promise Can Look Impossible and Still Be True: Abram was childless when God promised him a great nation. What you can see right now doesn't cancel what God has said.
Creation Points Back to the Promise Maker: The stars weren't just a pretty sight for Abram. They reminded him that the God who made them is the same God who makes and keeps promises.
Your Routines Can Shrink Your View of God: Responsibilities, problems and daily pressures can crowd out how big God really is. When "how could this ever change?" becomes your default question, it may be time to lift your eyes.
Make Space to Step Outside: Getting away from the noise matters. A walk, a tree, the ocean or the stars can give your soul room to breathe and make space for God to speak.
You Can Trust the One Who Sees More: God doesn't always hand you the whole answer. Sometimes He reminds you who He is first, and that's enough to trust Him with what you can't see yet.
