You may have heard the news in the last few days of the car that drove off the road and into a lagoon at Dee Why – where it promptly started sinking. A quick thinking police officer who was in the area sprang into action, and was able to pull the driver to safety before the car disappeared under the water. The driver walked away from the scene without a scratch, in what she described as a series of miracles. Libby Garness, the driver and sole occupant in the car, joined Hope Drive to share her story.
