With over fifteen years in the sporting goods industry in Middle Tennessee working with and for high school administrators and coaches, Tate’s relationships provide insight into middle Tennessee high school athletics.

High School Sports Saturday covers each sport during their respective competitive seasons.  Coaches, administrators, TSSAA officials and student-athletes are interviewed each week at 8 AM on 104-5 The Zone.

Whitlock also previews the highly anticipated WCS Media Day scheduled for July 25th at the Innovation Center, which will provide all nine high school football programs, alongside volleyball and girls' soccer teams, a professional platform to engage with local media ahead of the rapidly approaching fall season.

Throughout the segment, Coach Keylon details his journey back to his Middle Tennessee roots following coaching stints at Pine Richland in Pennsylvania and Harrison High School in Arkansas. He outlines his core vision for the team's identity, emphasizing a commitment to fielding the toughest, most physical roster—a coaching philosophy heavily inspired by his college roommate, Coach Walt Wells. While maintaining this aggressive, downhill approach, Keylon also plans to introduce a more active passing game to capitalize on the talents of Chason, the team's returning Mr. Football finalist quarterback.
