Domestic violence doesn’t start with a shove or slap in the face. It starts with actions that are often mistaken for love and desire. The red flags in an abusive relationship are often manipulated by the abuser to appear as though they’re coming from a good place rather than one of dominance and control.

Special guest, Joplin Higgins, is a vocal and dynamic advocate for increasing the awareness of the prevalence of domestic violence in the community and a vigorous believer in the necessity of rehabilitation processes for the perpetrators of domestic violence. 

Joplin discusses why it is that people abuse or are violent to people they are supposed to love the most, behaviour change programs and what people can do if they are experiencing domestic and family violence.
