Larrissa Rue Haven (formerly Miller), represented Australia in gymnastics at both the 2012 and 2016 Olympics. She retired soon after.
Now in 2026 at age 33, Larrissa has made a comeback to the sport after a decade out, having rediscovered her love of the sport after a period of reflection and perspective.
She competed at the NSW State Championships in May 2026, winning gold in the Senior International level. HER WAY spoke with Larrissa immediately after the medal ceremony to find out about her journey back to gymnastics, and her goals within the sport the second time around.
