Jakiya Whitfeld, a Rugby Sevens and Rugby League Jillaroos international, is one of several NRLW stars working with Goanna Academy, an organisation founded by rugby league Greg Inglis.
Goanna Academy, Australia’s first Indigenous-owned preventative mental health education organisation, conducts programs and clinics within schools and communities, with football used as the vehicle to connect with young people.
