I am Jared, joined in studio by the one legged Dean Ungla Suck Suck Suck. We have Tori and Easton in studio joining us. We have a great episode coming up. How dare you, first of all, forget Pappy's here too? Pappy, So, Pappy is here. I just don't want you to leave. I don't want him to feel left out. We'll explain to everybody who Pappy is if they don't already know. Pappy is mine and Kitlin's little foster child. We picked him up four days ago and he just wanted to tour the office. I figured it was bringing your pappy to work day and uh, he's yeah. He's an eleven year old little mixed puppy with the cutest little teeth and he's got the cutest little face. He looks like a baby Yoda. Yeah, we keep getting that with the years. And now he was just chilling beneath me and Jared while we record the podcast. So how long have you had Pappy? Four days? So my question becomes because I feel like a lot of people who take foster dogs end up keeping the dog because how can you possibly give up what your wife is a foster failed twice over. Once you take in a dog, it's over. Yeah. We me and Caitlin when we first took in and were like, all right, we'll take him in. We won't give him back to the pound, but we'll give him up when a new family comes in to adopt him. How's kind of our our our mindset. But last night we were laying in bed with him and he's just like the perfect dog. I can't get over how perfect Pappy is. And we were like, we looked at each other and we're like, there's no way we can give this dog pack? Can me? Have you ever heard a small dog before? Um? Growing up, I had a little dogs and basically the same size as Pappia is now. But in college I rescued Nala, who's that big flatcoat retriever. She's obviously a bigger dogs eighty pounds, and Pappy is much much smaller, but he's a good what seventeen pounds. Yes, he's tiny, but he's good. Like I crutched, I crushed in today he like he can walk on a leash while I crutch around. For the most part, he gets like a little scared of elevators and stairs and stuff. I heard him bark for the first time today. He we got on a bicycle at road by and he just started losing his mind. Never heard and barked before. But yeah, we'll see what happens. Um. We do have an adopting family coming in to look at him from San Francisco next week. And honestly, with the way things are going, even Caylin was like, you need to take Pappy today because I can't continue to get as attached as I'm getting to him. So it's looking like we're gonna be foster fails, which on, Like, I don't hate the idea he's gotta I think we were just talking about this before we came in. He's got a level four heart murmurs, so I don't know like how much time he's got left and if Kaylin and I can give him a couple of good months before he goes, you know, um, But yeah, we'll see what happened. Who's more attached to Pappy right now? You're Klin. We're both absolutely obsessed to there, I'm sure, just like the level of obsession you have with Lowest, We're like I can't get I can't whenever he's not in the room with me, like, I freak out. Actually, and I always talk about if if our dogs only knew how much we talk about that literally every time I actually leave, actually, and I leave the house, it's like what's lowest? And we have the fur boat inside that. Yeah, we constantly watched that thing. It's like, what's lowest up to? Oh, it looks she's laying down own, She's laying down so adorable. It's just a little stuff. Pappy is great too, because I'll be laying in bed obviously, like I'm recovering, so I don't really move around a lot. I've never really had a dog that was like good with coming like when I asked him to I'm sorry, what was that? Okay, I knew you were going to make some sort of sick joke out of that. You freak Anyways, laying on the bed, I'd be like, Pappy, come here, and all he does is like Perker's little ears up and jumps on the bed and comes up and snuggles right next to me. Oh. It melts my heart every single time. I do have a story about a dog, but let's save that for another time. It's so the listener discretion is advised. If you don't have any interest in hearing this, maybe skip forward to that gross. I mean, it's gross, but it's it's more funny. So we have Lois and then Ashley's sister Lauren has Gurgy, who's also a very small, white, little fluffy dog. And Gurgy is definitely a humper. So when we first got Lois, he was obsessed with her and constantly with Hopper humper. And one time it was an all day affair and Lauren is, you know, she's trying to pull Gegy off of him, and then so she does, she pulls Georgy off of Lois, and as she does that, even first of all, he's fixed, but this his semen shoots out all over her arm and she was scarred for a lot mid vinegar stroke. Oh I just yeah, he was. He was ready and and Lauren kind him at perfect time, right because they are hump right, so he like he got to the point and just air humping. I mean, he's obviously very attracted to the loan. She could do that to him. Good for him. Well, that's super exciting about Pappy. You guys are adorable with him. He's so cute. I'm glad I finally got to meet him because I've heard so many stories and I wanted you to meet him. But yeah, Peppy tell us about our episode that Jared. So our episode is just us. There's no guess. It's you me, Tori Easton in this room at I Heart Studios in Burbank. These are the moments I live for. I think I think so too. Yeah, but I do have some user questions. We have some people out there that needed vice. That's what we call her, our fans users. Yeah, yeah, I'm being way too professional. We have questions from suck the people that make this podcast. Good. God, we just need to do a live podcast and really just feel the energy of Suck Army. I feel like we're underestimating them. Of the four attendees that would come to our live podcast, I told you that the almost famous live that we have no Well, here's the thing. So when I went out there and Channon Suck Army, we got like a good seven or eight people, and last year when we did it, we got four. So We've doubled our audience in a year. That's pretty good. That's not bad. That rate would go up exponentially too. So in ten years I'm talking, we're talking three millions, four millions, and we hit a milestone I think so we reached fifteen thousand followers on Instagram. Um, So, before we start getting into your wonderful questions for everybody here, Tory is in studio and I swear so many people want to know. They always comment, they always d M, they say we want an update from Tori. Where is Toriy? What is going on in tories life? So guess what we have Tori here to tell us everything that's going on in your life? How to give us the juicy gass? Well, what do you want to start with? Let's start that was a little bit more than Jared. So let's start with what everyone knows. The football player boy. Okay, yeah, football player boy. So I went to the game, So hold up because I need a little refresher. You're right, okay, and I think some people might need some too. So you're talking to this football player. He's a professional athlete. Yeah, it's badass, by don't I it's the one that we I that. It's not the one that didn't pay for me. It's the other one that I met through one of my good friends. Guy. We like, yes, yes, but he's a little unresponsive. Well he's like, oh yeah he was. He's hard to get ahold of. Sometimes I feel like, well, yeah, he gives you like the response in like five hours with like full conversation, but you're just like full disclosure. He was playing up until this weekend. Yeah, and there right, And there's the time change that also was like kind of hard Okay, so he's not from California, not San Francisco, forty niners, so it's narrows down, all right. I don't like it. Sounds like it was going well enough because you were at the NFC championship game. M hm, confirm or deny? You already kind of confirmed. You said you were at the football game this past weekend, and there's so you were at the championship game, which means things have been going at least they've been progressing to some degree. Well, he's still you guys, are still conversing enough to where he's going to invite you to the football game, Like he only got a set number of tickets for those types of things, right, right, So that's pretty good totally, and um so his whole So I've met his family before already, because that when they played the Chargers, his family was there and I met the sister, which I get it. I got along really well. Yeah, well actually almost because I guess his sister has like a secret boyfriend, and I almost outed that to the dad in a matter of like five minutes of knowing. You know, this is a very very publicly broadcasting podcast. No, so there's it comes full circle because then at this game, I saw the family again and she brought the boyfriend. So I got to meet the boyfriend. So now I don't know who the guy is. So we don't know the families. You didn't ask anyone, Well we okay, you're right, I don't know who it is. I guess I'm looking through it with my lens and I know who the guy is. That means I wouldn't be able to figure out who it wasn't I assume everyone don't say the name Dean. Okay anyways? Right, So um yeah, so I mean he I was really hesitant to go, given just I've been working like thirty hours these past two days and so leading I worked like thirty hours this week and I'm exhausted. Now that's Dean with his influence her life. Now, Dean works like it's very generous, thank you. Um No, Tory works. You work way harder than that. So we had podcast awards, We've had all these events, and so I was like, I don't really want to go. I honestly just want to sleep, but I also love football. So I bought a ticket last minute. Um he did offer to pay, but I just felt a little uncomfortable to accept that, given that he was paying for two tickets because he let me bring a plus one boy. Yeah, I feel think I'm actually talking to two. You know. I brought my sister in law and so her dad he's played for the forty niners. So then we just had like a blast all around, just like on the field. Yeah, we were on the field sweet hopping. I was like, I'm scarred life right there. But at the beginning he said that it didn't seem like it was. It's progressed at all. It hasn't though, because in this sense, well he's offered to like fly me out a lot of times, which I'm like a little hesitant to do um, just because I think it's hard when you do the long distance dating. You can't really date long distance, Like you can't be like, hey, I'm gonna come there and then like get me a hotel room and then like let's pick me up at eight for dinner and then drop me back off. Like you're very much submerge into somebody else's world. So I've been a little intimidated by that. In my personal opinion, I think it's almost best for you because you are so entrenched with work seven here, so a long distance relationship and almost be better for you that way you can kind of focus on that when you want to focus on that, but then also kind of like put push that by the wayside when you need to push it by the way side. Definitely, I think I do appreciate that he as his own world because I love to work, so I want to be able to feel good in that lane. But at the same time, it's easier when you know the person well and then you go long distance because you guys can still pick up and see each other and like pick up where you left off. For us, it's like we're still picking up where we left off, which is like way beginning stage, it's hard to build a relationship off of long distance. It's easier to build a relationship and have that foundation, and then you guys go long distance, but now you're you're still in the early stages of dating, while doing long distance makes it more difficult. But we've been like talking for like very loosely, like eight months, and I'm like, it's so brutal. You're saying, did you saw him over the weekend? Well, yeah, for like ten minutes with his family, and I was like, this is just not what I was all the time before that that you saw. When was the last time Chargers game so well, I think that was like September October. I mean, obviously our entire audience is following the Chargers and they know the care we all everyone knows he plays for the Pack, like everyone knows, and if you were trying to look him up, he doesn't have Instagram to time. Got a great first name though, So okay, now that his season is over, though, what lays on the horizon? So I don't know. It's it's so hard for me because I don't really like struggle with loneliness, and I think that's part of me also as I allow myself to be really fine being single and like I have fun and I have friends, So it's really hard for me to to invite something that is kind of like codependency into my life. And I realized I'm really struggling with that and I'm not the most vulnerable person, Like there's there's probably like a handful of people who have seen me like truly, truly cry. So the Green Bay Chargers game was early November, so this was the first time you saw him in almost three months. Yeah, so he's not giving me anything to be like I need to shut this down. It's like he's being he's so kind, like the fact that he even gave me a plus one, like those tickets are easy, Like he dropped over a grand on just and everybody and his mother was asking for tickets. Second and he chose to give two to you, which was like he did not have to at all. And then he offered to pay for my flight, but I just didn't feel comfortable with that. Although I'm like, I'm a broke homeb homegirl like I would have. So you kind of dodged the question a little bit. That's awesome. Okay, Yeah, I don't know. I don't know. His sister when I saw him after the game, was like I wanted to train in California and she's like getting to train out here, and I was like, I want no part of this conversation. He's only been to l A, I think twice, but California, like I mean outside of a game, like probably like three times too, So is there a chance he'll come out here instead of He's like really wanting to train in San Diego, but I'm like, I don't really want that to be a part of our situation. And I know he's never really trained out He's trained out here for like a couple of weeks before, but like never being like, Hey, I'm gonna come out here and train. And we have great training facilities in l A. I mean, and I know there's good ones in San Diego. So I get why people come out here and train. But at the same time, I'm like, I just don't want you to come out here because you have like hopes for us, because I don't know how I feel that. I don't put that much pressure on it or don't overthink it. He wants to come out here and training. You guys can hang out. Girl over thinks everything, but not Tori. Tori doesn't. Tori stays grounded, not to pivot off of this incredible topics. I do think it's interesting and I do want you to continue to keep us updated on what's going on with this guy. Okay, yeah, you guys need to meet him. Where's it leave off? Like, that's what I want to know. Where So he texted me after the game and was like, Hey, just let you know he texted you, Tory. He's put a lot of effort in He said, uh, seeing you after the game really like brighten my day, And I was like, to the super Bowl. I'm so weird. I got that text and I was like, I literally do not know how to respond to this. It made me so uncomfortable. Was it the day of Uh No, I think it's the next day, Okay. Still regardless, he lost out an opportunity to go to the Super Bowl every athlete's dream in the next day and you saying you brightened his day. That's really sweet, But like, what do you respond to that? Well, as a guy, what would you want to hear and respond to that? I love you? But no, I'm actually being honest. I mean I would have said it was great seeing you too, you had a great season. No no, no, no, no, no, no, you gotta go more like feeling emotional left That dude literally just said seeing you brighten my day. And I'm just saying it was great seeing you two. You had a great season. I'm really proud of that you and you accomplished many things, et cetera, et cetera, so on and so forth. You don't need to get all mushy right away. The dude just lost He's reaching out to her. What did you say anything back? I'm like really scared to check what I sent back. Can you read it? Forest, please? As the listeners while you're finding it. The oally reason I said no to that was because it sounds very off pudding, like, well, hey, you had a good season and you should be proud. And how's that off putting? Well, because he made it about her. This is so awkward what I sent back. I feel like, can I read it? Yeah? Okay, it making me like a little less awkward for you if I read it. I just like, I know you guys are gonna have I know I've you because I don't like to feel emotions. It's so bad. I don't want to be hurt. And I think that's the reason why I never know how to respond to people, because I'm like, that's vulnerable. It's funny seeing the name, just seeing the name is hilarious. I'm reading Tori's phone right now. He texts her thanks for coming and staying after to see us, seeing you brighten me up after the game, and she responded four hours later, mind you, I guess you were working. I guess you're also though, like I'm exhausted but it's probably about four hours later, Tori responds, Oh, that's so nice of you to say, smiley face. I felt bad cutting into your family time. Hopefully you'll get to hang with them soon now that season is done. I just I think that's a deflection. You deflected. It's sorry. If I got that, I would be bummed. Right, It's kind of like, I'm glad you got your family because I'm not really going to be hanging with you, So hanging out with them now that that's offseason, it was very That's the only reason. Yeah, I gotta say. I gotta say though, it's probably working in Tori's favor, because guys always loved the chase, right, and she was kind of like deflecting and like not making it about them, kind of making about him and other things. Hopefully he doesn't listen to his podcast. I bet you would driving him bonkers, like a like a good way, though he's very even keeled. Yeah, judging by the very little I know about this person, I would agree with you, Tori. I think that, but now every girl knows how to sure like it would drive someone like Dean crazy and probably me too, and I would we'd like to sleep over it all night, and I would It would just make me like so much more invigorated. We want to conquer, right, I feel like this guy I don't know, but from my gut feeling says that it made him more sad than intrigued. I don't know, I don't know. Maybe yeah, I listen, I've been wrong a million times. But what did he respond back with? I saw I read the whole text conversation. Well, here's the bad guys. Because they got a response. I didn't want to scroll too far. I didn't want Well, the thing is, it's like, literally, oh my gosh, because then he responded back to never. This guy is confiding in you. His family struggles to. The follow up message to Toris that she did not respond to was no, that's okay. My sister tends to talk a lot, and my dad asked too many questions. Hopefully you're able to get some rest now back in l A. He's wanting you to get rest after he just finished an eighteen game football season. This man, and he's confiding in you. My sister tends to talk a lot, and my dad asked too many questions. I don't really want to hang out with him. Do you want to hang out with me? How how long did it take for him to respond to the tour's message? Two hours roughly so half the time, just just under two hours, and she's don't responded. Do you take my phone in response? I've been eighteen hours since Tory hasn't responded to this guy. I feel bad for him, not bad. I know that he like I'm sure he kind of like likes it a little bit, But Tori, you need to give this guy maybe a little bit more attention. Yeah, throw him at all branch, you know. But like, I'm really analyzing my life where I just I think that I don't overthink it. I'm so okay being like I actually have so much fun in my life being single. I love I can do whatever I want. I don't have to tend anybody's needs. I don't need to be next somebody being like, oh with this person, hate that I'm right next to. Like, I really like to just live my life so selfishly. I think I get like a little bit anxious where I'm like, whoa, I'm not ready to tie down. But at the same time, I know it's so nothing. Well, I mean, the question becomes do you want to continue seeing this person or not. I don't know. That's okay, you're not you don't have personality because it's like such a personality person So if I don't know, like if you don't make me laugh, I don't even care if you're like if I may not be like totally attracted you in the first minute, Like if you don't make me laugh? Him out? Does he make you laugh? I don't know him? Hold on, eight months of talking, you still like feel like you don't know football. It's like, oh, it's this. It's that you guys really hung out in person, like I hang out three times. Maybe I think you guys are gonna get married. I'm calling it now. I like it, mark my words. I actually honestly almost just threw up, Like commitment terrifies me. And I'm really learning a lot in this conversation. Oh my gosh, I was twenty five. I'm so old. Oh my gosh. I think this guy's perfect for you. He's like he's given you your space. He's not too clingy, not too needy. What you hate, right, He's like he's comfortable with allowing you to take twenty hours to respond to a text message. He's comfortable with you around his family. He's not like overbearing. In my personal opinion, it sounds like you hit the lottery with this guy, and you should maybe consider like entertaining a little bit more than you are. Can you guys get both Give me like a challenge on how I can be better at dating in this situation. Right now, I want you to FaceTime this once a week for as long as you can responsive FaceTime once a week, one FaceTime per week. Continue your text conversation as as you will, but FaceTime this guy once a week. It does, and then and figure out if there's a connection. Maybe he's got a sense of humor. If he doesn't, then he's not your guy. But given I'm gonna need to know how to break up with someone, this guy's patience is next. Let's not get ahead of ourselves just yet, all right, This guy's patience is the next level. I want to pivot because there's something else that we need to talk about with Tori. This is that before we do that, we can talk about it. I think it's really funny, it's hilarious, and I'm going to tease it a little bit, so Tori, I don't know how to really tease this very well. Tori and a former Bachelor at contestant have sent some flirtatious vibes one way or the other. I'm calling it flirtatious. It's definitely not flirtatious. And we're going to get to the bottom of it. I don't know the full story. I just know like the very thin crust layer on top, and we're gonna dive in a very very popular Bachelor at contestant and Tori might be having a bit of a romantic fling. So we walk in and there's a lot happening there because it's just like a lot of celebrities all around and all that stuff. When we're just sitting down and we're like laughing whatever. Um. And then I walk up to use the restroom. Wait, is this where it should I say his name? Not yet? Bachelor? No, I'm not. I'm so I walking to the restroom and I'm like, oh my gosh, that's what's his face? Um? And he's been on the Almost Famous podcast before. How does the look in person compared to television as attractive question? Um, I feel like saying, I'm not totally like he's so gorgeous, unlike me who is very much like he's very gorgeous. Also, nobody can see the dangling earring and Dean's you're right now, it's just really upp in your gorgeousness. What this guy rocket dangly earring or no, I could see him doing it? No shirtless anyway, con hates us. I'm listening thing about who it is in my head and I have somebody in my name in my head and if it's this person, I'm going to be disappointed, but continue, Okay. So then I walked back from the bathroom and I ended up running into another one of my friends were walking in, and so I group text Ben Ashley and um me and I I don't know. And so then I texted them and I go, you guys, this is happening. What do I do? And Ben's like, you've got to go say hi? Um tell him he looks really good without his shirt on, and UM, so this is someone that you've had a crush on that Ashley. No, in fairness, everyone's had a crush on this guy, okay, And UM, I'm like, oh my gosh, I just like I'm not I'm never like, I'm not like a starstruck person at all. You guys, I love you, but you're not like my idols or anything. If it was like Kobe Bryant, I would actually like cry um. But so I was like, I don't know if I really want to do it. I don't really care. I don't really care. I don't really care. Um. Then we were all at the bar getting a drink and Jenny was like, hey, let's go to the bathrooms. We literally like to the bathroom. The person walks walks my way again. Second time. Second time, but he was sitting for the first time. This time. We were both like crossing paths and we're like right in front of the kitchen door. And I'm like, hey, you you've been I heeart before and we've connected over u c l A because he he originally went on like a recruiting trip to c l A. We talked about like all this stuff and um, and we we're talking and then this guy comes running up behind it. It's like, can you guys move? Can you guys move? Because we like we're right front of the kitchen our way, So I turn and then all these waiters just crash plates all like drop all the plates around us, cause a whole scene, and I'm like, oh lord, UM. So we're like inch away. I'm like, oh gosh. But and he's like, oh yeah, like I remember now, like all that stuff. So he was like, oh my gosh, well I'm out here in l A for a bit. Um like I'm just trying to get get more friends and more people, Like, let me get your number. So we're like, he got my number. Never heard from him, never heard from him, which I was like, that's fine. You weren't expecting to hear from him. No. No, And I honestly just want to genuinely be good friends with him because I think he's fine. Okay, so fast forward, fast forward. Yeah, she just wants to be friends with him, that's all. Should we have a guest, No, I think we should have him guests after we have someone in mind obviously to one. So then I'm a little drunk the Super Bowl. Gosh, I wish at the championship game. Um, and I get a selfie sent to me of him and one of my friends that was at Catchell that night, and so she went up to him and was like, oh my gosh, hey, like you connected with my friend. Um. He was like, let's send her a selfie. So he sends a selfie and I'm like, what is happening here? Who is this and he responds He's like, hey, it's and I was like, oh my gosh, it's my future beach volleyball buddy or whatever, because we talked about like how we want to play beach um and he's like, I know, where have you? And I was like, where have you been? He's like, where have you been? And then I kind of threw like a sassy comment out, but I got a little twisted because I was drunk, and then he didn't respond, and then I felt and then I woke up the next morning and I was like did I send I don't really remember. I wasn't like blacked out, but he's just like, you know, those things happen where like in passing, like don't really care. Yeah, and so going up and I was like, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, Like that was so sassy. Nope, like you guys know my personalities where I'm like sarcastic, but like that sounds kind of like a dick comics. I basically was like sometimes it comes across totally totally. And so then I called my friend who was with him, and I was like, oh my gosh, like dying. I was like, what happened? I was. I was a little tipsy, like what happened? She was like, oh, like, don't worry about it. He blacked out that night, so I doubt he even really remembers sending it. I was like perfect, and she was just like yeah, like he was there. They were at Saddle Ranch, like where you like ride the mechanical bowl. So there's been no fallow up conversations, no fall up conversation because which I'm thankful for, because again, it kind of sounded like a dick comment that I sent. I kind of we kind of kind of well, I basically was he was like, where have you been? I was like, I've been out here, like like training getting ready for a volleyball tournament. While you're out there modeling building like content. It like sarcastic, like quote unquote. But then I'm also like, you make ten times more money than I do because of that. But I was like, like I was like being an influencer in building content. And then he's like, oh he sent out it sounds like you're killing it. And then I was like, wait, what did I send to you the next morning? Because I was like, why am I killing it? But then I think he misread it. As like, I'm out here modeling and building content. How did he misread it if you said while you're out here? Because I think that we were both d like I still read that text ten million times. You want it? Yeah, I want it because I can. We can we have Jared and Eastern guests this potential. I was on that original group text, so I know who it is. Can we have I'm gonna we're gonna have Jared. Guess is that okay? I mean there's an obvious name, Tyler C. Yeah, that's that. I said. I'd be a little appointed because I was hoping. I think Tyler right now is just you know, he's out there, he's doing his thing, he's dating g G, he's dating all these girls. He's spotted with somebody else every other week. And I think when I first came across the name, I was like, I wonder if this could be not say it can't be something, but I think Tyler was the one name I was thinking of of, like I just hope it's somebody who's like, oh my. I think I was hoping it was somebody that I could be like, yes, like talk to him like you're you're going to marry this guy and then I just don't tell. It just seems like, you know, he's having fun and there's nothing wrong that he should like, do you think, bro, Yeah, no, I think that it doesn't mean that he can't settle down and maybe, well, here's the thing, I'm actually not honestly genuinely just want to be his friend. I think that he's a little too dirty at this point for me, do you know. I don't know, but I would love for you to elaborate on that. You do know, too dirty? Like he's just kind of like got his hands in a couple of cookie jars, just like, uh, maybe a high count. Yeah, maybe just throwing it up. There's nothing wrong with the high count. Tyler sent that, and then you said train and getting ready for volleyball. Yeah. Yeah, it's so the whole back and forth. And then that's when you said my future beach volleyball teammate, and that's when he said where have you been? And then you said training and getting ready for volleyball while Live been modeling in quotations and gaining followers in quotations and building in quotations content ha ha ha crying emoji phace, so so many quotations. I realized that now, Yeah, because literally says training and getting ready for volleyball while Live been modeling in gaining followers and building you're meant to be You've been, But it sounds if I read it like, oh, she meant to say I've been modeling followers. I totally love I've been gaining followers, creating content, and then to be sarcastic and be like, well, you've been doing the whole thing, but I was dropped. I get it now. And then he said you have been killing it Moji faces in like I forgot that there was more after this, and then do you want me to read it? Yeah? I don't care. And then I may have also been stuffing my face and drinks and French fries. As green Ball terribly loses Green Ball Green Ball, someone adds this list of the goals for dating, do not drunk texts. Yeah, that's definitely a good thing to add in there no drunk text I think that's incredible. It sounds like you guys are off to a pretty good start in terms of a friendship already have a lot of inside jokes. Right good, that is good. Oh you're a hockamonity you got yeah, you got a Green Bay packer coming after Tyler like the Bachelor at contestant. But I will say you were like you were hoping it would be somebody in the Bachelor nation that you'd be like, oh, yeah, but is there anybody you would ever set me up with that you'd be like for sure. Um, I mean a lot of them are taken. The guys that I would like one is sitting right next to me. I would never. I don't think I would ever want someone to set me up with someone because I just would not. Also, bless your heart, but now, hey, you know, of course. But also Dean is the most one of the most endearing, sweetest people you ever met. You can all agree to that. I mean, sure you have commitment issues, yes, but you're I mean, come on, you wouldn't want him that I was like broke my leg getting out of the other day. Like Dean is the see the question always has asked, like would you let your sister date him? You let your sister date me? Yes, because I have faith that you would not do her wrong, which I think this is the most important thing. You say you guys would last forever. I don't know, but like I know that you wouldn't be treat her wrong. Thanks man, I appreciate that I wouldn't. I don't know. I think he would. I would make you would do something. You would take it a little too far from one of a point where she'd be like, I think this is a thing, and then you'd rip the rug underneath her, and then you'd be like, it just didn't work out. But I don't think do you know that spot on? No, at that point we would already be in a committed relationship. Yeah, my sarcasm sometimes goes to, like a pretty high level, what is a committed relationship to you? Monogamous? And yeah, that's that's basically the pinnacle of it for me. You don't have to answer this, but have you ever cheated on anybody? Yeah? But it was when I was back when I was younger and drinking heavily, And I think it's I see, I like that he was so honest with it so quickly, because I think that sure, when Dean was twenty two, maybe he would have done it. But Dean now, And that's my thing too, is as I've gotten older, I don't really drink anymore. But whenever I cheated twice in my life, and both times I was a blackout drunk, once when I was nineteen, once again when I was twenty three, And so it's like, once I elimited alcohol out of my life. You know, I would never say I had an alcohol problem. I think that, but once that was gone, Like, I don't really party anymore. Anything that's that's basically like a non factor at that point, you know, Tory. Let me also say not say I don't think Dean's gonna screw up many times. But I think at the end of the day, what you want most importantly is for them to treat each other well, right and to be honest, and I think Dean gives those qualities. I want to get back to the main point, though, who in vatulation you would set Tory up with? Um, I'm at single, he doesn't have anyone because I have two people. I think the pool is not that great. I think both Alex b from my season, the Russian who's Alex? Oh he's coming before. I'm just saying he's a great guy. You're just like, he's great looking, he's incredibly handsome, and he's an athlete, not a professional athlete, but he's like a crossfita. It's like when a CrossFit guy says he's an athlete, would go home. Peter Krauss also an athlete, he's an iron man. Two incredible guys. Those are my two. Those are my two, I would say. I mean, granted, the thing is it's hard to tell because some of them, like obviously Ben, but he's in a very committed, happy relationship he was if he was single, I would obviously I'd say I don't. I don't say in touch with them as much anymore. I'd say Sean Booth. I think that's a great pick. He's a very handsome man. I'd say Chris Stranberg, who's that dentist? Oh he has great teeth, great teeth. Uh, he's got his quirks, but he's a good man. Uh. Who else I'm trying to think of, Yeah, you see you guys? Can I just say though that if I were in my head, if I was like next to a guy the dating pool from the Bachelorette contestants or the female contestants from the show, you could set everyone up with. When you get to the guys, you're like, I have three for you. And this season, I mean, this has been on for like twenty years less than that, but it's like, what are Why are all the guys kind of crappy? And then the girls are all gems. I don't know if the girls are all gems. I don't know if that's necessarily the case. There is a I agree with you, there's a discrepancy between the quality of man and woman that go on the show. That and the women are typically a bit of a higher caliber um but that comes with its caveats, obviously. I agree with you. I think it all goes back to the type of people that would go on the show. I think a lot of girls go on The Bachelor because sure there's Instagram followers in fame, but they also probably want to believe in this fairy tale romantic ending for them where they can get that. I think guys maybe don't have that in mind when they go on the show. They're not thinking of this grand romantic experience that they get to have with this woman, where I think a lot of women going on the show, I think that interesting like the romance, the romance aspect of it, I don't think. And a lot of guys I think, are you know, they're they're in shape and good king yeah, and they're like whatever, whatever happens happens, and like, I hope I got on Paradise. I think that's more the mindset of a lot more not to not to put a blanket on everybody, but I say the majority of guys don't think about the romance where majority of the girls do interesting. I gotta say last night on the On the Bachelor to my early season faves went home Jasmine Sarah See. I think they were two of the prettiest girls there and they went home Jasmine. Okay, what I don't know? Okay, I wish I could help. Did you not watch? Yeah, I've been slacking this season. I will say I'm not a huge fan of the of the women. These seas seem a little caddy. No, it's just like, no one really stands out to me. And then I liked Madison and then she had her own fan account by her That's right, and uh, I like, and then Hannah and just kind of bothers me. I'm not saying that it's like I'm attacking other women. I'm just saying from what I'm i'm picturing with, like being with Peter, I can't really find a person that I can feel like hits that slot with it. It's interesting to see what happens. I'm ready for an older bachelor. I'm ready for an older bachelor again. Yeah, I'm ready for another like thirty five year old. Okay, I'm ready for it, and I want like thirty one two year old contestants Bachelor, whether it be bachelorette or a bachelor. You heard it here first, Jared's pulling for the geriatric bachelor. Yeah, something different. You know, if you could pick a bachelor to be back on again for like a redemption thousand percent, Nick, he's he's evolved so much. I would pay to watch that season. And now he's like, he's like one of my good friends. I would love to watch like one of my good friends to be the Bachelor. I can't tell you, guys are being sarcastic one of us. What do you think he would do differently this time? Do you think he genuinely was looking for someone? Yes, when he was on the Bachelor. Because he's going to hate me for saying this, Nick is thirty nine, he is he is ready? No, I mean that's first time he was one. I think he was as the Bachelor. You think he was saying. Here's the reason why I keep clarifying. He's been on a total of two bachelorettes, Bachelor in Paradise, became the Bachelor, and you're saying, now he's ready. He's very picky. I think he was ready before. I think he was too knowing Vanessa and Nick now, could you see that relationship because I can't. They're very headstrong people. Yeah, and so I think now Nick, I think also Nick is in a better place. I think when just like all of us, your ego gets inflated, and I think Nick now going through the entire experience, is a little bit more jaded, a little bit more self deprecating, a little bit more accepting, and I think self aware. I think he would be the most fascinating, engaging, interesting bachelor because he's already done it so many times. We're so invested in his story. He's still single. It's I and I like eve in uh um. Even his little appearance on hand of season in the Batchelor. If you remember he had that little one on one dinner scene with fans. Okay, yeah, sorry, sorry, Dean just made a bad face. Sorry, no, I was stretching in I overstretched my like sorry continued. Do you remember that one little scene he had where he had like interactions with fans. He was so good though, and he was so self deprecating and funny, and even Harrison walked in and was like, what happened to you? Man? And he's like a lot a lot Chris that you're talking about. When they were doing like The Bachelor Live right, it was like for hand of season they brought some former condesses back and one of the things was Nick came back. Yeah, he was being funny for like a five minute segment. Anyway, The point is I think it should be Nick. Uh. And I know people are gonna be like, you're ridiculous. I'm tired of Nick. No, you're not, just like people say they're tired of the Patriots. No that I would want to hear everybody's pitches on who if there could be a redemption story if they can't find a girl for this season. Well, redemption is different than pitting someone I think would be the best for the job. But no matter what you get in quote unquote men, So it's a redemption story being like, hey I didn't get chosen, this is my time. See I wouldn't say Nick's a redemption story. But whatever, we're parting words. Uh, so you want a girl? No? So I think it'd be interesting for our listeners to email us and saying who would they pick to be the next bachelorette that have been in the all past seasons, that they would want to see come back again and find love and as a bachelor, and that's single only or I guess if they're in relationships, why would we want them to find They've already found it. What about a girl bachelor? Right? Quickly? And Alice Oh coming from left field? Ah, you got any win tour? Easton, Easton? You're smiling over there, bachelor bachelor? Right. Chris Evans is bachelor. Oh, Chris Evans, he's single. If we're going into the realm up, if we're going in the realm of anyone possible Jelly from the Circle? Have you guys seen that show? He should be the bachelor. I want Chris Evans to be the bachelor so I can be best friends with him. Now. Uh so before so we're gonna go on a break. She's that you think you just become best friends with over the next bachelor's going to be Uh, well, you're you're not best friends with Peter. No. But again, I at least have the opportunity. I know people that know people. I know nobody that knows that Chris Evans right now, I understand he gives me a shot, gives me a shot, I understands a separation. Now we're gonna answer some of suck armies questions emails. But before we do that, we're gonna take a quick break. All right, So we got an email from anonymous. They emailed, I suck at dating at I heeart media this question, how can I kindly tell my significant other that they may want to start being healthier. I've been dating my boyfriend for over a year now, I love him so much. But since we've graduated college, he's gained a good bit of weight and doesn't exercise when we eat out a lot. Health and fitness have always been very important to me. I live in a very healthy world and environment. How can I get him to start getting back on track? This is from anonymous and the email us at I Suck at Dating at i heeart media dot com. Jared, what do you think I would encourage them to start working out? By you start working out? So she says she's already or they say that they already, So maybe be like, Hey, I'm going to the gym, make me like I want to go, like I want you to come with me. It's tricky to navigate that because by saying but if you make it too obvious, you make it sound like you don't appreciate them for what, for who they are in terms of like their body or whatever, they're healthy or unhealthy decisions, And that could be a slippery slope. It's such a fine line though, because I don't know. It's just like physical attraction is a thing, yea. And so if you're significant other who you love more than anything and you're gonna be with is putting on weight and they're becoming unhealthy, and you want them to lose weight for both their health and appearance. Like how do you balance that? I don't know. I don't know whither. This situation is almost the foot PLoP for me and my relationship with Kalen. I have been living in a healthy lifestyle and not working out and been getting a little soft around the center area and the arms, all that kind of stuff. He's a broken life, and I keep looking well, even yeah, you're right, but even before this, I like wasn't really happy with my physical appearance, and I kept like looking at myself in the mirror, like with her in the him and looking at myself and be like, I'm so out of shape. I don't I'm not proud of like what what I look like now. And she would be like, oh, baby, you're perfect, you look great. You like I'm I've never been more attracted to you in my life. And so she's not like motivating me to go to the gym because she's I'm like, okay, cool, Like she still thinks I'm hot even though I' getting a little puggy, you know what I mean. So it's kind of had like a reverse effect or I'm like, God, I can get away with a little bit longer, get away with a little bit longer. But I agree with what you said. I think if you want him to work out more, you should bring him and invite him with you to the gym. It sounds like eating out might be an issue as well, so maybe like prepare some healthy meals. Maybe you guys could do that together too. That'd be a good like a couple's building exercise, and then you guys could just eat healthier via that root as well. It's but like I said, it's a slippery slope. I think that you should be careful um and don't make it too obvious that you think he's getting a little fat. Can I just say though? The double standard it like as a woman, if a guy were to kind of come, I get the whole health issue thing, but like, you can't interpret that any other way besides being defensive right off the bat. So I think expecting it to just be not great in the beginning and then just really coming along, maybe challenge and be like I bet you could do more push ups than you and you'd be like, no, you can't, and then they both do fifty push ups. Boom, He's already on this track again every day after the next year. I feel like you just have to be really honest in the situation of how you're feeling, rather than trying to be like scheming about it. I think you need to be like, hey, I would really love for us to step up os and like become like become paleo. Um, let's do a whole thirty let's do something like I really want that, and I'm feeling I'm not meeting my expectations. Will you come alongside me and help me. I don't think it's it's scheming to do any of those things. And what you just said kind of was scheming because she she does live on my style, so she wants to be continue that and you can't continue that on your own. If you were a nutritionist and you were married to um, maybe like or dating somebody who was worked in fast food, like that would just naturally just be a little bit harder for you. You'd be like, oh, it's here, it's convenient, it's whatever, it's sent home like you kind of you'd have to really hold each other accountable to be like, hey, it's me to succeed. I need you to kind of meet me. Are we kind of saying the same thing though, Yes, you want to include him, push up conversation like competition, but it's like, I know, but you just have to like be really honest. But like making about you mean like I need to be better and I need you to come alongside me and hold me account. That's basically exactly what share it said. I just feel like it it wasn't and I don't know why I heard it differently than I think. That's I think I brought a little bit more sensitivity to it. I'm not saying that's right, okay, but we all have a lack of sensitivity. And I brought a little bit of humor to it, which also you lack. So that's okay. So there you go.
